"Lovely area and beautiful setting. Giethoorn gets quite busy in the day, when you see it you will understand why. Its like going back in time, the museum is a must to understand the history, as is the church. We loved our stay, a very helpful chap on the reception. You're quite a way from the car park, so luggage is taken back and forth in a bucket shaped trolley. Sadly the weather wasn't the best so didn't get to enjoy sitting out by the water much which would have been lovely. The only problem we had was with the microwave that doubles as an oven, and didn't work well at all, waiting forever, or burning items !, so gave up. Would much rather have had a separate oven. Kitchen could do with looking at to be fair. Overall we had a lovely time. If you want nightlife this isn't for you, If you want relaxing and peaceful this is it."

"What a magical home! We absolutely loved our stay. Erwin is a wonderful host, prompt to reply and helpful in all they ways a host should be. The projector tv (with HUGE movie style screen) was a treat. We enjoyed watching the latest blockbuster movies with our kids from the comfort of the King size bed in the main room. The sleeping cubby was also a hit with our teens, dark and cozy and ideal for reading books and sleeping deeply. Book this place if you can!"

"This place is an absolute dream. From the moment we opened the white picket fence, we were welcomed by beautiful flowers and the warmest smiles from our hosts. They were genuinely some of the kindest people we met during our entire trip through Europe and made us feel right at home. This was my very first Bed & Breakfast experience, and it has definitely set the bar incredibly high. The entire upstairs apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and the full kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need to prepare a meal. One of my favorite parts was the view from the living room and kitchen, overlooking the charming main street and canals. It truly felt like something out of a storybook. Breakfast was absolutely delightful. We were treated to a homemade Dutch breakfast that was both adorable and delicious. Definitely ask for the eggs—they were some of the best I had on our trip! The fresh coffee, juice, and yogurt were wonderful as well. The location simply can’t be beat. You’re right in the heart of Giethoorn, within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and the local pub, making it the perfect base for exploring the village. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If we ever return to Giethoorn, this is the only place we’d want to stay."
