Lovely Suite at Lake Roberts
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great time again at Lake Roberts and at your Inn. This stay was our sixth year in a row, always towards the end of July. And again, we are still amazed how quiet and serene this place is. Though we missed 😔 the hummingbirds that used to be around and were flying in the area some years before. But we had some other, welcome critters visiting while we were sitting outside the room.
A Dragon Fly 😁 hung and flew around for quite a while and accompanied us while we enjoyed quiet time in front of the room. He gave us plenty of opportunity to take pictures of him.
You have made some good improvements like adding the AC and having more fans in the room. Also the insect curtains are a great addition.
We look forward for next year.
Thank you,
Nellie & Guenther"
"Absolutely unique. So lovely! At first I was worried about no AC and no TV but it was a blessing. We enjoyed the fresh air and gave us the indoor/outdoor experience. We got to hear nature. Without the TV, we played games for hours as a family. We really got to reconnect. The views were beautiful. The fact that there are multiple balconies gave us a chance to experience different views. I do recommend you take all the food you may require and spices since there is only a small general store close by. I would take paper plates next time, but that’s because I can be lazy at times. I am posting this the day after we left and my family and I already miss it. I hope to stay there in the winter. I can only imagine how cozy it would be with the fireplace on."
Lovely Pet-Friendly Suite with Kitchen at Lake Roberts
8/10 Good
"The place was perfect for staying near family that was camped at the Mesa Campground - just 9 minutes away. I recommend bringing the extra fans. The rooms was uncomfortably hot during the day but cooled off beautifully at night. The swamp cooler wasn't particularly effective but we weren't in the room most of the time so no big deal. The beds were great. I slept really well and comfortably each night. Warning: the next bit is about bugs. Be aware that they arr plentiful! The door screen was pretty effective but the front porch light was a beacon to bugs. When we got back at night, the door screen was covered with a wide variety, small, medium, and large. If you need to see at night to open the door, I suggest foregoing the porch light and using a headlamp or flashlight. I like bugs so it was interesting, but even I was a little creeped out. My poor love, who doesn't like bugs, was super creeped out. Small bugs attract large bugs. I did not see one here but I did see a gorgeous vinagaroon at the campground - hunting crickets in the restroom. So, if you don't want the bigger, creepier bugs - leave the lights off if the door is open. I would have given this property full stars if the room hadn't gotten so hot and if there was a comfortable chair or couch to sit on. I'd come back!"
"We recently held our wedding weekend and reception at Inn at Lake Robert’s. With family and friends, this was the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful scenery as well as each others company under the pavilion. The Inn had everything we could have needed. Being minutes from the lake and other beautiful attractions our guests were able to enjoy the area without being too far to get back for wedding events. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The pavilion was very spacious and conveniently equipped with grills, tables, and relaxing seating. I highly recommend this location if you would like to enjoy a peaceful getaway! Thank you for helping make our wedding weekend unforgettable!"
"This cabin was perfect for our visit to Gila National forest. Directions and instructions for entering were very clear. The cabin was very well stocked with kitchenware, towels, games and even some canned food and spices which was a thoughtful touch. I really appreciated the labels on the drawers and cabinets. My son utilized the kayaks. As a bonus, the next door neighbor was very friendly and has a cute dog. We would stay here again."
"We rented this venue for my sister’s wedding and it was perfect. The cabin is super cute with lots of room and an amazing little sunroom to have breakfast. There’s a nice seating area that is covered with good shade. Super close to the lake. It was an amazing weekend. If I ever head back that way, that will definitely be the place to stay."
Tranquil escape nestled in the forest on a beautiful horse ranch.

"The cabin was the perfect retreat. It had everything I needed for a week in the wilds of New Mexico. The bed is comfortable; the kitchen is well stocked with equipment and essentials. Thanks for a lovely week."
