"This is a beautiful property. The dining room was large and we had a great dinner while we stayed there. Our room was in need of a new rug/flooring, but very comfy beds in a large room."

"This is a charming historic inn which is part of the Historic Hotels of America National Trust. Its present structure dates back to 1915 when it was rebuilt after a fire in the same year. Prior to that there was an Inn on the same site dating back to 1879. Its main selling point is its fantastic location and the stunning views of the mountains as well as its front porch with lots of seating. The hotel itself is cosy, clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. There’s a nice relaxed vibe here. They’ve tried to keep some of the original features such as an old telephone box in the reception area and an original elevator with two doors that have to be manually shut, The rooms themselves are comfortable, clean, a decent size but somewhat tired although this seems to add to the charm of the place. We’d stay again!"

"Very nice restaurant, very nice bar/lounge/porch experience. Room was small, quaint, just good enough. Bath was spacious, but shower in the bathroom was much too small - only large enough for an adult male to just turn around in; not bend over. Good food. Good service in restaurant and bar. Grounds were nice but not special. Room was small and without A/C, because relied on single window unit only, and the maintenance people removed that one for repair earlier in the day without replacing it. The hostess said she did not know, but when told, she made no effort to fix. Fortunately, it was a cold evening and the too warm room cooled off after the window was left open. Was very surprised by the hostess' lack of care/effort to correct the A/C situation. Overall good experience for one night, but not worth the premium price. Will look elsewhere if ever in the area again."

"Very clean room. Everything was nice and clean. Owners are super friendly. Made up room each day. Will definitely be back. We stayed in Oct so pool was closed for season. Well maintained property. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay."

"We stayed just one night. It room was clean and were very pleased with the private balcony to sit and have our morning coffee. The bed was also comfy. The only negative was the trim needed painting and the tub needed to be redone. Cosmetics. We will be returning next year for sure"
