"Great little unit that was spacious and easy to find. Close to Baddeck with easy access to the rest of the island. Little playground for the kids was a nice touch, especially when the parents were trying to pack up. We did notice that the fridge didn't seem to be cleaned from the last guest. "It was a simple but adequate and clean little cabin. Even to shared facilities were clean and not at all unpleasant until the shared composting toilet started to emit a very unpleasant smell. That is why I am leaving a one star overall rating. If its too unpleasant to sit outside, it doesnt work. "

"This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail. The bed was great and having a coffee on the front deck was a great way to start the day. Thank you to the hosts! Cheers @EddieMac75 "

"Lovely place with peace and quiet. A bit off the main road but not far from highway. Front entrance is a bit steep as is the fell driveway so those with some mobility issues be advised. Would stay there again for sure "

"We truly enjoyed our stay! It was a cute set up with all amenities. The beach is close by, unfortunately the jellyfish were a bit too plentiful. The owner came each morning to bring water, ice and a treat for everyone. It’s very secluded and my kids were able to be wild and loud. The dogs enjoyed exploring the area as well. If you are wanting to camp without the stress of setting up a tent, this is the place for you!"

"Nice log cottage sitting on Diana Mountain with a nice view of Bras d’Or Lake. The night skys are fantastic. The cottage is secluded. It is about a 35 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind so if you want to get away from everything it is perfect. Stock up before you go. The cottage has high speed internet and good cell phone reception to keep you in touch with the outside world. If you are planning on taking in a lot of the sights of Cape Breton Island then plan on a lot of driving."

"It’s a beautiful property with many options for out door activities such as kayaking, boat rentals etc. There’s a lovely indoor pool, sauna and hot tub that are a welcome treat after a very long drive. The restaurant and pub we pleasant and the food was good. The breakfast buffet was a nice start to the day, especially looking out at the water and boats."
