Gite With Private Pool And Vineyard Views on Canal du Midi

Constantia is a traditional ivy-covered property overlooking the Canal du Midi. There are four excellent canal side restaurants in Somail, a supermarket is just 2kms away, the lovely old town of Narbonne 13kms, and the Mediterranean beaches 26kms. Le Somail is a perfect location from which to explore this fascinating region. A wooden staircase leads from the entrance hall up to the accommodation, which has a two bedrooms, one with en-suite. The accommodation is all on the first floor with an unused wine storage facility below. There is a magnificent split-level open plan living area with traditional beamed ceiling and windows on three sides. The well-equipped kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob. French windows open onto the roof terrace with barbecue, garden furniture and views across the vineyards. The owner's daughter is next door so help and advice is always available.

We had such a fantastic, relaxing stay at this property. The gite and pool was just beautiful as was the surrounding area. Perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Would highly recommend.

thank you Emily and tony for a wonderful week. we had 4 days in the house which is better than the pictures and beautifully kept with everything you need for a stress free holiday including a lovely pool. we then walked out of the house across the lane onto one of their fleet of canal boats for 3 days that was so relaxing I nearly fell in the canal de midi. beautiful house beautiful boat beautiful village and lovely people. we will be seeing you soon thank you again sabre and malcolm
