"This may be the only time a hotel far exceeded its photos and website. What a beautiful property! And the staff were always kind and helpful, yet without being overbearing and fussy. Special kudos to Frensis and Don (??) at the reception desk. Our room was spotless and offered all the amenities we needed. Other reviews have mentioned small rooms and showers or furniture that should be updated. But we found quite the opposite—a large, sparkling room and bathroom, with clean, spare, modern decor. I can’t recommend Rapos enough!"

"Portanova is a beautiful hotel that is very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The breakfast is very good, and the staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Everyone made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. A special thank you to Magdalena, who was especially kind and helpful during my stay. Her warm attitude and willingness to help really made a difference. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Portanova!"

"The staff and location were fantastic. Once we got our bearings, we found we were in walking distance of Sarande prominade and some beach locations. Lots of parking space. The breakfast was fine. We stayed in a room for 4 (family with older children), and it was a tad small. The shower had no curtain so you had to clean the floor afterwards. Nice big refrigerator to keep water and beverages cold. The beds were very comfortable. Some noise from the hallway or partiers, but not constant."

"The hotel is modern and well maintained with a fantastic roof terrace for meals and drinks. Quality of the menu choices was very good with reasonable prices. The bar offered amazing cocktails at excellent prices. Pool was in shade until noon and with sun beds provided which were very well cushioned. Pool towels were provided free of charge. Reception, Bar & Restaurant staff were exceptional in the service provided. The hotel is located very near the beach and bars / restaurants and shops. There is a steep but short hill road to manage when accessing from the beach road. In our opinion the hotel was very good value for money on abed and breakfast basis."
