"The apartment is the main floor of an old home. It is located very close to downtown/historic Oakland. All the rooms are very spacious and minimalist aesthetic. It was a great base for our Garret County adventure. We were a party of 3. But a floor mattress makes it possible for a 4th. I only recommend bringing you own drinking water."

"This was truly one of our favorite rentals we’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious how much care and thought the owners have put into creating a place where guests can feel comfortable, welcomed, and at home.Unfortunately, we experienced torrential rain for most of our trip, but honestly, we didn’t mind one bit because the cabin was so cozy and inviting. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy some downtime.We almost never stay in the same rental twice because we love discovering new places, but this may be the exception. That’s probably the highest compliment we could give. Thank you for sharing such a special place with us. "

"This is our 2nd vist to Bearadise and again it did not disappoint. It was my wife, my 2 kids and their significant others enjoying a family vacation. It was very clean and well equipped. While there we enjoyed seeing the wildlife and nature's beauty. We came back one afternoon and saw a bear at the tree line back of the cabin. It heard us and took off to the right. We have been coming to Alpine for the past 27 years and this is the 2nd time seeing a bear."

"The house was very clean. The location was one house away from the lake and hiking trails. The kids enjoyed being on the lake and trails also. The appliances were all in good condition. Well stocked dishes, glasses and utensils The beds were very comfortable. Having a two car garage was very helpful. They had a new fire pit, clean gas grill available."

"We enjoyed our stay here. We enjoyed sitting on the upper porch and enjoying the breeze. This property is very close to the golf course. We would have liked screens in the windows so we could leave the windows open at night. Very nice washer and dryer unit."
