"This was our 3rd time staying in the Owls Nest Cabin and once again it was a wonderful experience. The cabin is so cozy and the perfect size for our family of 4. We spent a good amount of time relaxing on the dock and enjoying the many outdoor activities. The hosts are so kind and answer questions almost immediately. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and we hope to come again!"

"Walking into the cabin and seeing the view from the living room was amazing! ... a beautiful sweeping view of a cow pasture on the hillside and a mountain ridge. Fireplace with provided firelogs and electric candles on the mantel made for a relaxing evening. Hot tub was great after a day of hiking. Little touches like the couch cover, ball and petwipes for dogs was nice. Carol even provided dog bowls and makings for s'mores! Rooms and bathrooms very clean with nice private views thru the woods. Watching a pileated woodpecker and a red-headed woodpecker while breakfasting was special. Would definitely stay there again, and I'd like to see the cabin in other seasons. Decks with rockers were nice, although the weather turned cold when we were there so I couldn't sit outside for long. Our family of 4 adults 1 dog stayed there April 5-8, 2026. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and it felt safe, welcoming, and incredibly family-friendly. The kids were comfortable and entertained, and we as adults were able to truly relax knowing everything we needed was right there.The space itself was beautifully maintained, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. The furnishings were both cozy and modern, and the amenities exceeded our expectations. Whether it was enjoying a quiet morning coffee or winding down after a long day, everything was perfectly set up for both adults and kids alike.What really set this experience apart, though, was the exceptional hospitality. "We had the most incredible time staying at this house. It's a perfect home for a family, with people of all ages. It's so kid friendly - my two nephews (2 and 6) were able to run around safely with toys provided for their entertainment. I highly recommend this place! "
