"We knew it wasn’t going to be a fancy place, but was pleasantly surprised to find more room than I imagined. Nice size living room with Tv and lots of DVDs to choose from. Were able to make food in the kitchen. Two separate bedrooms for us two couples. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Friendly host. We were pleased to find an affordable place on Skye when all else was booked. "

"The staff and the islanders were very friendly and helpful. The scenery is spectacular and the is lots of bird watching and easy walks. We had a lovely stay and definitely will be coming back to visit. There is really only one restaurant so if you are staying a long while it is good to have a place with a kitchen option."

"This lovely cottage was just what we wanted for our 5 days on the Isle of Skye! Remote and private, but we drove all over Skye to see the sights. We were so happy to have this cozy cottage to return to each evening. The view is fantastic, and the small town of Dunvegan is charming. "I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The little units were well equipped with a bed and bathroom, air conditioning, TV etc. The units are small but it was such an interesting experience so would highly recommend. The restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was well done and dinners were top notch. My only complaint was the main hall was warm but other than that it was well done. "

"Great location, portree is very small but the parking area is close to the hotel. It is also very close to the colorful view of the coast buildings. It wasn't a problem for us but keep in mind that there is no lift. Beds where comfortable, staff was very friendly. Clean bathroom, with good pressure shower. "

"Thia hotel was really nice. In a very quiet area in Isle of skie. I loved the landacape, the old building and how they repserved everything. It is true it doesn't have elevator but it is not a reason to discredit all the plus and how comfortable they made us feel. Breakfast was really good and service exceptional. "
