This property consists of a few rooms above a pub. The rooms and generally clean, cozy and fairly quiet. A good option to stay in the area for the night
Relaxing, friendl very clean very good shower, good food in restaurant. Continental breakfast, quite good, lovely fruit salad. Good service at breakfast.
Easy to find with friendly staff, the room was very clean with an amazing view and is only a short journey to the mountains. Made it back for dinner and the food is delicious with plenty of choice. Will be back to explore the area as I only stayed for one night. Thank you for a great visit

Difficult to reach location as it’s in a beautiful area of Glencar, a tiny village up the mountains. Staff were exceptionally warm and friendly and went above and beyond.
Great for access to the Kerry Highlands. Friendly attentive staff, great little shop, lots of parking. The bar gets lively on the weekends (End of Apr 24) but you can't hear it from the accommodation. Good food menu & well set up for camper vans too. Would recommend.
Spent 2 nights at Climbers Inn. The inn is in a stunning location in the mountains. The inn is a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location will not appeal to everyone as it is deep in the mountains away from any major cities or towns.

Good for folks looking for convenient stay.
Served its purpose of a quick overnight stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was average. Seems like a good place for hikers. Shower head sprayed sideways which we tightened a bit.
We had a busted tire in the Ring of Kerry and were unable to make it to our original planned hotel in Galway that night. The climbers Hotel was a special surprise. Very peaceful, fresh air on top of the mountain, friendly staff, adorable pub attached to it. This was my kids favorite hotel of our trip!
Owners were amazing and friendly. I left my purse and they found it and held it in the safe for me u til I got back. The drive to and from the hotel amazing but drive slowly lol. Overall the hotel was a wonderful Ireland experience
Nice family-like hotel and bar/restaurant with full scale of accommodation from camping to individual family room in the middle of nature. New construction, but shower basin cleanliness/conctruction could be more up-to-date
This is a fantastic place to stay if you are hiking in the area. The staff is super friendly and helpful, there is a restaurant and bar onsite that is frequented by the locals, and they have a store for all your hiking/camping food and toiletry needs. And there's a full breakfast avilable in the morning. And they'll even pack you a sandwich for the hike! Seriously, if you need anything just ask and they can probably help!
Easier to find them expected as our GPS won't accept Irish Post Codes and places never give street number or name . So we put Glencar in and it's The Climbers Inn. Lovely room. Good continental breakfast. Really enjoyed our meal in the hotel well prepared and excellent taste. David the barman was very helpful. Met up with other international travellers and have a hiker a 60km car ride to save them trying to walk the trail in a storm.
The room doesn't look like the pictures from expedia or the website of the climbers inn. It is less than basic. Small rooms, a lot of dust. Things were growing form the airco in the shower. The coffee and continetal breakfast were very simple.
Only the dinner was good enough!

The drive to this hotel was precarious, at best, but once we arrived everything fell into place. Off the beaten path. Wanted to experience different places to stay in Ireland and this was unique.Family room was a little tight for four adults but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Totally quiet, except for the donkey braying all night, but we enjoyed listening to her. Enjoyed a delicious meal in the pub. Friendly servers. Breakfast provided was continental, yet filling. You could have ordered a hot breakfast. We didn’t. The only downside was no wifi in the guest rooms but we had media downloaded in advance and brought books. Little else to entertain you there but the solitude was a nice change of pace.
