Our hilltop haven requires guests to ascend a couple dozen steps to access our home. You will also need to ascend a narrow loft ladder to get up to the sleeping loft-bedroom #1 (queen bed). Be sure to supervise children if using the loft. We are not responsible for any falls from exterior stairs, the interior loft ladder or from the cabin deck and the dome deck (or any falls while out hiking on the hillside--be careful). With our mountain setting there may be occasional bugs. Temperatures in the dome can be extreme. We provide a portable AC unit and electric space heater to help control the temperature. There aren't any curtains in our stargazing dome. There are a couple of cabins to the south of us facing the opposite direction.

Cute tiny home

Overall we had a great stay. Our one complaint was a major one however- the shower pressure was so weak it basically rendered the shower inoperable. The owner did promptly respond to our complaint and took action to resolve the issue as best he could in short time. However, despite a new shower head, the pressure was still terrible and it was nearly impossible to get clean. Highly recommend the owner install a water pump for future visitors because otherwise the property and grounds were lovely. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of places to sit and relax outside and take in the views, and the entire place was very clean, charming and cozy without feeling too small. A working shower would easily make this a 5-star stay.
