"We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and didnt have breakfast or coffee on any days. They said they were out of food. And to get coffee we had to walk next door to the other motel. One night we had little kids running around beatung on our door and screaming non stop and hitting the walls and just being wild. Mind you it was after 10:30 at night. It went on for atleast 2 hours. Our air went out for a few hours and wouldnt cut back on. We had one channel on the tv. There was no vending machines or...

"This property was absolutely gorgeous!! We enjoyed swimming off of the dock and actually rented a jet ski and tube which the kids loved. The property was clean and well equipped for a family of four (9 & 15). Pat and Mary were very welcoming and accommodated a last minute additional day. We saw deer every morning while sipping coffee on the upper dock. There is a dollar general a couple of miles away for any must haves. We really have no complaints. "My elderly parents joined us for a family vacation which would include my son, his wife and their 2 children who live in fair play. And we had guests come from out of town for the day on Friday and other guests for the day on Saturday.All of our meals were cooked at lake therapy. The kitchen was huge and spacious allowed everyone to mingle in the open. We did take advantage of the grilling area four burgers on the first night, and then we brought our own large pot and made low country boil.We loved the seating area around the fire pit and set up a ladderball game there then spent the evening. Making memories.The walk down to the dock is a work in progress. I see that they have cut a few trees down and are in the process of removing more which will make it very lovely. It was a little challenging for the eighty year olds to get down to the water but they did just fine and absolutely loved the daily boat rides as well as the sunset boat rides.The house was exactly as described and very spacious. The air kept that place nice and cool. "

"We were there for a junior golf tournament at cateechee golf course. It was convenient to the course and restaurants and fun to be able to play pickleball in the evenings. House was nice with a comfortable couch and fully equipped kitchen. Beds were comfortable. "

"We had a large family gathering which we’ve been trying to put together for the last five years. The house was absolutely perfect and superb. The boat was a blast. Sean and David were gems, especially when the electricity went out and they travel 30 minutes to bring us lights and a little generator. Luckily the electricity came back on in a few hours and the rest of the vacation was amazing. We will definitely try to come back here because we don’t know of any place finer than this. Thank you, Sean and David!"
