Clean, quiet, comfortable, and the host was wonderful. We truly enjoyed our short time in Gloucester, and staying at the Harborview Inn added to that enjoyment. If we are ever in the area again, we would stay here again without hesitation.

Love love love this place!!! John is so friendly and helpful, breakfast bar was perfect , the atmosphere of the room and breakfast area was so very relaxing. Can’t wait to go back again next year!!!

Great location across the street from the harbor. Proprietor (John) is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying there. We have friends who live in the area (we don't) and we will definitely return to the Harborview on future visits.

Harborview Inn is a cozy, well-located B&B with a very friendly and helpful owner. John quickly took care of a minor problem (stuck closet door) as soon as we mentioned it to him. Breakfast is generous and the baked goods of good quality. Our room was a good size, with a microwave and mini-fridge, and a comfortable bed. We would definitely return.

Lovely old house in a perfect position on the harbor to enjoy the park, waterfront, and mainstreet shops, restaurants. Can walk there from train station. Owner John knows everything about the area and the house. Room was very comfortable, with minifridge and microwave, and chairs to sit in and read! Bathroom a little old fashioned as was appropriate for the house. Did not find a hairdryer. Breakfast is room temperature options such as scones, hard boiled eggs, cereal. Would stay there again if in the area.
