Andy was a great host, unit was clean. Surprised that the unit had coffee filters and coffee, thank youthere was ample supplies of towels cleaning products basically everything was there.We would stay here again.

We've traveled down to this Burr Oak cabin for 3 years in a row now. I absolutely love it & it's so close to the boat ramp! The host is so friendly, loves talking to my husband!! We are making this an annual trip!!

Family Hiking Trip

Loved the cabin! The place perfect for a family hiking trip. Close enough to explore different trails and the cabin area was quiet and peaceful. The host included many amenities with the cabin. We really enjoyed our stay!

Spring break

Chilly weather, but nice and warm inside the cabin. Stayed the weekend and had a great time with our boys playing games, had a fire and went hiking around Burr Oak lake. Thanks again Andy!! Trip #5 at least staying here!

Spring visit

My wife and I stay at this cabin when we visit our college kids in Athens. It’s a perfect location to and from OU campus, and the scenery is amazing. We especially enjoy the roominess of the cabin, and all that it offers. Fire pit, propane grill, and all the comforts of home.

The cabin was in perfect condition, for the third year in a row! Fall colors just popping out and peace and quiet is just what we needed. Our host, Andy, always goes the extra mile to make sure we have everything we need, and is always just a phone call away.

Awesomeness

This is our 2nd year visiting Burr Oak. The lake and boat ramp is only 3 minutes away. Andy, the host, is so friendly & lives very close to the rental house. I love it there! Away from the "big" city of Columbus. So much fun to venture out and explore. We will definitely be back in the year 2025!!

More than just a cabin

The cabin was very clean, and is much larger than the pictures. We stayed with our adult sons that attend Ohio University for their fall break. It is the perfect distance from Athens, just 20 minutes or so, and is much more comfortable than a hotel in town. It has everything you need to enjoy a weekend, or even a full week. A walk down by Burr Oak lake, or an evening campfire next to the cabin, this place will definitely recharge your batteries, and Andy the host has thought of everything you need!

Pure awesomeness

I fell in love with this place as soon as i saw it!! So quiet there, far far away from the big city. The host is just awesome!! So friendly & is right next door. You are really close to Burr Oak lake/state park. People are so friendly. You don't get that a lot in the big city. The cabin itself was perfect! I wouldn't change a thing!! Very reasonably priced per night. Very easy to find!! On the day of checkout, i didn't want to leave!! We will be coming back to this cabin a couple of times next year!!
