Chatka Zimorodka (Kingfisher Cottage) 1790 with sauna

  • Cottage from 1790 built around the remnants of a medieval house, parts of which still survive. Traditional renovation using clay, straw and wood at the foot of Poland's highest volcano (Ostrzyca/Spitsberg 501m) formed 100 million years ago. Good views of the volcano itself from the house; the summit of which can be reached within an hour's walk. Cottage is situated in the Land of Extinct Volcanos, an area of outstanding landscapes unique to Poland.

Eine passende Unterkunft für eine große Familie oder Gruppe von Freunden. Das alte, mit teils zusammengetragenen Bauteilen restaurierte Bauernhaus hat seinen eigenen Charme. Die Zimmer sind einfach eingerichtet und jedes verfügt über ein kleines Badezimmer mit Dusche. Komplett und praktisch ausgestattet ist die Küche. Gemeinsame Mahlzeiten kann man am großen Wohnzimmertisch oder auch im Außenbereich einnehmen. Eine holzbefeuerte Sauna und der Außenpool sind angenehme Highlights. Gut wäre passend dazu eine Außendusche.Um die Ausflugsziele der Umgebung, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Restaurants zu erreichen, ist man aufs Auto angewiesen. Fußläufig kommt man dagegen bis auf den Gipfel des "Schlesischen Fujiyamas".

Das Haus ist wirklich wunderschön und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Es war auch alles schön sauber und die wichtigsten Dinge waren vorhanden. Die Nachbarschaft ist auch schön ruhig gewesen. Die Kommunikation mit Paul und Anna war sehr gut und bei Anfragen haben sie schnell geantwortet. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns auch die Sauna.
