"Absolutely loved our stay at the Lakefront private suite! The pictures do not do it justice, it is more beautiful in person. The hosts are very friendly and made us feel right at home. They really did go above and beyond. Checking in and checking out was fast and simple. There was so many goodies waiting for us on check in. There is a boat launch right down the street which was an added bonus. The boat house was amazing and had enough room to dock our boat. We had so much fun fishing and catching fishing. We loved our stay we are planning on returning real soon "

"Was my best Lake Gaston trip.....Fifth stay at this location and as with the first nothing but great marks. Two Houses away from Boat Ramp, close to main lake. Already planning my Fall visit. Perfect for my old dog (18yr old Beagle). Highly recommend this property Pat is Great!"

""Carried Away" was a top-notch experience. We enjoyed the kitchen cabinets being labeled so we knew where to find things when cooking and where to return them! Because we had beautiful weather, the kids and grandkids spent most of their time in the water and SO enjoyed the kayaks and the paddleboards. The entire family enjoyed being on the dock, upstairs and down, watching the fun. It was nice to be able to see what was going on from the deck up at the house. We ate at the TWO outdoor tables several times and used the gas grill which worked well. We ended up with 14 adults and 7 children for one of the nights, and had plenty of room for all! If you want to bring in a meal, check out Gettin' Sauced in the City, right down the road for delicious Italian food. We are already talking about next year... :)"

"Communication was fine, as well as getting into the house. Few problems with the upkeep/cleaning. Kitchen window was disgusting with spiders a dirt all over it. Grass was about 1.5ft tall in the front yard. Dock needs some serious work as there are some boards that are ready to be replaced asap. Roof over boat lift is completely gone and has a tarp over it. For the money it isn’t bad, but it needs some attention. Cleaning and mowing should be the bare minimum for the owner given each renter is paying a cleaning fee. Had a great time otherwise. Would like to see more care with the property."

"Beautiful lake views from the house and plenty of room to spread out. The dock is so nice. We enjoyed the kayaks, pool table, and fire pit. The kitchen had everything we needed. Our first time at Lake Gaston did not disappoint. We will be back! "
