Email was sent by Q Stay with confirmation of our room on level 26 ocean views. 3 night stay. Very special occasion for my daughters 9th birthday day. I had shown her and she was suoer excited. We were give a room on level 12 with views nothing like 26. I made a complaint and we they offered another hotel a few kilometre away. Its was nice. But by then it was nearly dark and we had enough by then. I had booked originally somewhere close to everything. We had to drive everywhere instead.

Excellent location, uses and family appropriate.

We had a great time at the Chevron. The view, space and facilities at the chevron was great. I can’t complain. Kids loved the pool, the indoor pool and spa as well as the close by beach. The cleanliness of the building was good, the lift area was sometimes stuffy and not perfectly smelling I guess due to age of building. We were here during school holidays, so occasionally the pool are was overcrowded and there were no chairs to sit on. The pool chairs/lounge were very uncomfortable. But overall, it was a great place and great value cor money. I’ll come again.

It was ok, a bit let go but over all it was disappointing. I was happy to leave. We only were given 1 key which impacted our stay. We had to chase them for a second key and yet over our 6 day stay they were unable to produce a second key that would have allowed us to make the most of our stay with our young family. There was no drive from the accomodation provider to ensure we were satisfied with the service. I think when we checked in she was more occupied with the gum in her mouth than serving us.

Old, dirty, and lacking. The pool was dirty. Rubbish everywhere. Did not once see staff cleaning around the premises during our whole stay. Extremely busy time and only 2 lifts where working. 15 plus minutes wait. Will not stay or recommend to anyone.
