First time in Australia. Our 9 day Marrakesh Apt stay was wonderful! Our 2 bdrm unit on the 6th floor had amazing ocean & neighborhood views from every room. It was also very clean with a full kitchen and washer&dryer. Extremely walkable to the beach and to downtown Surfer’s Paradise and to Broadbeach. The tram stop is a 3 minute walk… it will take you to Brisbane and the International airport. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Not a typical luxurious hotel however for the amazing rates you get the homely experience in the heart of Surfers Paradise. The property itself has a classical, vintage appeal. The view from our apartment was breathtaking, soaring up to the skyline. We really appreciated the spacious comfort throughout the entirety of our staycation.

Apartment was good size and Clean. Building was quiet but Very noisy area in early hours of the mornings and room was not sound proof at all. Only one A/C in main living area was a struggle in the the bedrooms for sleeping.

Overall was nice, and I would use again, pool area great, apartment ok, parking great, good area to be in for beach, restaurants and shops just outside the nightlife so quiet. Areas for improvement only get one towel each for a week, had to pay for extra, only 4 coat hangers for 2 people, apartment furniture looked a little tired, apartment serviced after a week but only change of towels and sheets not a clean or vacuum but as said I would use again

We always stay at the Marrakesh Apartments as we love it, it’s a great size, excellent location and the rooms and staff are excellent. I always recommend it as a great place to stay - just finished our 9th stay at the Marrakesh

Nice place with great location for both surfers and Broadbeach . Bowls club with great bar right next door . Room we had is a little tired . Old bathroom . Light in bedroom didn’t work . Main grip all be it quite small , lack of a coffee tale in lounge so no where to put your drink and unfortunately we used the milk in the fridge that had obviously not been tracked if in date as all congealed in bottom of cup .

Good for Family Stay
The apartment itself was fine but the extras around it very limited. For us we were better off in a hotel because of all the extras - breakfast, services etc. This is suitable for a family. Also limited choices for cafes restaurants walking distance from apartment.

It was further from the conference that I would’ve liked, plus it was schoolies week so the whole of the GC was very busy. The unit we had was a little tired too. Other than that it was great

During our stay, I found that communication with the receptionist was smooth and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment block had great security measures, and the swimming pool facility was excellent. However, the apartment itself could use some updating, and the old water jug needs replacement as it was not very clean. I suggest that a coffee pod machine be provided instead of the jug since boiling water for an instant coffee is not ideal, especially in today's coffee culture.

Checkout date 4th November. Had a great stay. The staff acknowledge Hotels.com (Expedia) gold members and do a wonderful job of looking after them. Many other hotels struggle to do this. If you’re after a quiet apartment (great soundproofing), fast reliable WiFi, very helpful staff, close to public transport and shops — then this is the place for you.

Pools and spas were great. Don’t bother upgrading from a standard to a superior apartment as there is very little difference and not worth paying the extra for. Take everything with you as they’ll even charge you for toilet paper! It was ok but we wouldn’t stay again.

Clean and well maintained
Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Pool area very clean and inviting. Only downside was check in, i didn’t like being asked to physically write down my credit card number on a piece of paper instead of it being processed in the computer system. I feel this isn’t a very secure process.
