A spot of fishing anyone...? Both sides of the bridge, on the top level only, pretty much all the way across... Interesting walking the lower level and observing. #blue
Galata is more than just a bridge. It connects two different sides of Istanbul and has its own life. Locals use it as a fishing point well into the night. For tourists offers great views over both sides of Istambul as landmarks like the galata tower and the Süleymaniye Mosque. It’s also a great spot just to sit and observe locals and the buzz of the city life.

It’s a very nice “boutique hotel”! Depending on what one wants or expects, it might not be exactly that. If one wants a larger hotel with fancy lobby and big rooms, this is not it. However, the staff are super friendly, overall very clean and comfortable hotel. It’s within walking distance of some of the best tourist attractions including the Bazaar and famous mosques. Great restaurants and coffee shops. Be aware that this hotel is in an old neighborhood with small roads that might or might not be open to car traffic all the time. Rooftop restaurant and the food was great. Overall, it is a nice hotel if you are not with a family. Rooms are small and some have no windows!
