"The hotel is a little run down. The elevator was questionable as the door was sluggish to open. We took the stairs. It seemed like there were a lot of people staying there, so it was busy and noisy. Doors slamming late at night. It was good for the price. "

"The property is great! Convenient to most everything in Charlottesville. I only had two problems with my stay but I will stay there again. First, the heat would not shut off. I couldn’t get it to change to air, auto or off. We ended up opening the windows and that saved the trip. Also, a trash can in or near the bathroom would be helpful. Also a liner in the trash can in the sitting area would be appreciated by guests and housekeeping. It was gross to walk from the bathroom to the sitting area with feminine hygiene products to put in an unlined garbage can - we added a bag btw. Next time I will just move the garbage can nearer to the bathroom and anyone with kitchen trash can make the trip to that can. "

"Encountered bug issues in bed and bathtub. Numerous bug bites. Need pest control management as recommended. Do not recommend staying on 1st floor / basement when weather changes from winter to spring (bug infestation)."
