I stayed 2 days at the Hotel Lonca in Skofja Loka on business earlier this week. I arrived late on the Sunday night and Robert the Night Manager checked me in. He was polite, professional and efficient but above all so helpful on any questions I had, including the all important internet access. We felt very much at home at Turizem Loka, thanks to the family running the guest house. Spacious tidy rooms and a very clean bathroom. Breakfast had plenty of variety, a very nice breakfast room also. Beautiful surroundings in a small safe town, with excellent connection to any direction. We did trekking in the lake district and even though a bit far from Bled and Bohinj Skofja Loka served as a good base. Lots of information and maps provided at Turizem Loka.

Very beautiful place and the entire estate with vineyards and a golf course. We had excellent and very good breakfast in the nearby Castle which is on the property. Rooms are beautiful with a view on the vineyards and a beautiful Castle.

this hotel has a marvelous location if you like the sea, and the views from the terrace is simply amazing. the rooms were very clean, and serviced twice per day. nice breakfast with open buffet and choices. on the down side, the room had old Italian style plugs ( which doesn't accept apple charger for e.u.) , you have to pay for benches at the seaside (entry is free), and the age of the place shows at some points. to sum up: I've been to better rooms for this price range, but the location makes...
