"I stayed at Ohla Barcelona for two nights in a Junior Suite. Overall, the hotel itself is beautiful, and the suite was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The rooftop was one of the highlights of my stay, very relaxing, with stunning views over the city and the cathedral. Breakfast was also excellent. As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the number of options available and never felt like I was missing out, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, it does seem that the hotel may be a little behind on room maintenance. I experienced issues in both rooms I stayed in, including lights that weren’t working, a broken phone, and problems with the doors/windows. The issue in my original room resulted in significant street noise and a very difficult first night’s sleep, which required me to change rooms the following day. That said, the hotel did ultimately take my concerns seriously and worked to make the situation right, which I appreciated. There is a lot to love about Ohla Barcelona, the property is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, the rooftop is fantastic, and the breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts I’ve experienced as a vegan. With some additional attention to preventative maintenance and ensuring rooms are fully checked before guests arrive, the experience could be excellent."

"This was the first Catalonia hotel we stayed at. We liked it off the bat. The hotel was very clean and uniquely designed. Our room for 3 adults was spacious, including the bathroom. The one downside was the AC unit. For the first night, we had to sleep in barely working AC. It was not fixed until our last night (we stayed only 3 nights) so that was okay. But we wished it would have been fixed sooner and I could have given this hotel a 5-star rating. The staff was lovely though and the room cleaning was always on time and quite thorough. The location is UNBEATABLE. You can walk to all the tourist spots or get to them by metro easily. All around the area, there is no shortage of food, shopping, and events. Will certainly stay here again!"
