"We stayed for 3 days and it was great! The area around the hotel had a lot of construction and definitely not the hotels fault. Being on La Rambla was exactly what we wanted, the breakfast was awesome as well any drink or food from the restaurant. Nothing bad to say about this hotel at all. "

"We had an excellent stay at Hotel Gotico. It is centrally located to many restaurants and shops. On our first night we asked for a restaurant recommendation. The gentleman at the counter gave us one and told us how to get there. He made reservations for us as well. Once we got to the square, I was confused about the name of the restaurant so I called our hotel. The gentleman said “where are you? Wait there.” He walk to us and showed us to the restaurant. That was wonderfully kind of him and so appreciated!! All the staff were wonderful! Just as a tip, tour vans and buses are not permitted in the old section of Barcelona so you will need to walk to a meeting point. It is so much calmer in the old section so it is worth the walk to meet a tour. Taxis are permitted. "

"We ask for ice and iron and ironing board, they promised to deliver but the ice and the ironing board never came, we didn’t ask again. Otherwise our stay in the hotel was excellent. The property is clean and well maintained. Location is superb, despite the Rambla was under construction in September 2025. The staff were welcoming and cordial. Breakfast was great! rooftop bar ambiance is nice, if you need a respite from the crowds. "
