"Basic property, has not been refurbed in years. Over priced for what it was. Constant mosquitos everywhere in the apartment which was bad. We literally barracked ourself in one room. All the taps etc were rusted and green. Area outside is full of locals who didn’t not even know what halal food was! Plenty of supermarkets around though. Beach and bars are all deserted. "

Not much happening in the village but a walk around gives a feel for the quiet life away from the coast. Eat at the Golden Cage for dinner, the only restaurant in the old part of town.
