Welcome to Unicorn Cay on the Island of Eleuthera in Governor's Harbour. "A place so magical surely unicorns could live here." With the auto generator, water storage and now Starlink internet and WIFI you have the best of the basics while in paradise.

This luxurious beachfront estate sits on 7 acres with 200 feet of pink sand beach. Unicorn Cay was built in 1940 by a famous English writer and explorer, Rosita Forbes. It is based on the style of a French Chateaux complete with a central courtyard with pool and an entryway flanked by turrets.

The home was recently beautifully restored retaining the original Abaco pine floors, wood work, and native stone. The central courtyard has a covered patio overlooking the heated pool. The pool is heated during the winter months. Each of the four bedrooms have private entrances from the courtyard. The master also has access from the library. The large gourmet kitchen is equipped with two refrigerators, electric stove top and two ovens, coffee nook, gathering island, and all the small appliances and utensils that you can think of. The home also offers a formal dining room, large great room with hand crafted walnut bar, laundry room, library, and media room. The numerous surrounding verandas and covered patios provide quaint areas for morning coffee or afternoon socializing.

The Unicorn Cay pink sandy beach spans 200 feet. Reefs are close by for easy snorkeling. You could walk for miles in either direction looking for beach treasures or just enjoying the incredible views. This beach is one of the most beautiful on the island. Kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and snorkel gear are all provided for your enjoyment. Beach chairs and lounge chairs with an umbrella are waiting for you at the beach.

Services: Housekeeping will be provided prior to arrival and after you leave. Additional cleaning services may be arranged. Recommended private chefs will be provided upon request. A special event coordinator can be arranged for destination wedding or group event planning. Golf carts are provided for use within the property.

A back up generator and cistern will provide utilities when electricity and water go off on the island. (This is a common experience on the island.) In addition, a water purifying system has been added which provides purified water to the refrigerators' ice maker, water dispenser, and a faucet at the sink. Bottled water is not needed. Finally, a reliable and fast internet and WIFI with the recent installation of the Starlink satellite dish.

The courtyard pool is 16' X 32' and can be heated for an additional $300 per week.

Rates: The base rate includes rental of the main house and master suite or 2 guest. The main house consists of the kitchen, dining room, great room, library/media, laundry room, verandas and courtyard pool area. Included also is access to Unicorn Cay beach and the use of a golf cart within the property. Each additional guest is $50 per guest. If not reserving all bedrooms the unused bedrooms will be left vacant for your privacy.

If hosting an event with more than 10 guest it must be preapproved and there may be additional charges. Please contact Jane regarding events.
