The staff was very attentive and cordial. The rooms are lovely, clean, with an incredible location. If you eat at the bar/restaurant…the pasta and hamburger are delicious. And the focaccia… leaves your mouth watering. You have to order it with the tomato-feta dish.
The gym was on the smaller side , but we usually had it for ourselves. It has a handful of cardio machines and upstairs, a good selection of weights with a bench and bands. There was also a TV with workouts you could choose from. Good ambiance! We also rented the bikes. So fun!!!!!
It will definitely be my place of choice to stay again!

Excellent little hotel with a lovely adjacent bar, that does great cocktails. A nearby supermarket served me well for food, and the location is great. Amsterdam is a very walkable city anyway but you are close here to two good shopping districts and museums, and right next to a tram line . The room was great , really comfortable and the staff were excellent. Would definitely chose this place again.

The hotel is tucked away in Bergen, which is a very beautiful little high-end village near Alkmaar, The Netherlands. We stayed only for one night -- 17 hours to be precise -- as part of a larger group gathering. The group dinner was held at the hotel, and it was outstanding and highly recommended. Staff are nice.
We had booked a room for two persons. Our room clean and with two windows overlooking a beautiful courtyard, but it was rather small -- about two feet on one side of a queen-size bed and a three-feet-band passage on the other sides -- with rather minimalistic furnishings and space. We had no room and place to put our luggage or unpack the immediate necessities. If we stay there again, we will definitely urge for a larger room.
