It’s necessary to clean the room

We stayed at Jiva Hill for just one night, but by the time we checked out, we were already talking about coming back. Everything about our stay was flawless. We were incredibly lucky with beautiful weather, which meant we could really appreciate the wonderful setting, the views and the golf course. It feels peaceful and removed from the city, yet the location is remarkably convenient, around 15 minutes from Geneva Airport and approximately 30 minutes from central Geneva. What impressed us most, though, was that the five-star experience goes far beyond the facilities. The hotel is five star, the service is five star, and the food is five star. Every member of staff we encountered was genuinely friendly, helpful and welcoming, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We also thoroughly enjoyed the food. Dinner was excellent, and breakfast was particularly impressive, with such a wide choice that there really was something for everyone. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities, wonderful food and genuinely warm service made this a very special stay. We were only here for one night, and somehow we are leaving feeling as though it wasn’t nearly long enough. We would very happily return, and hopefully next time for a little longer. Thank you to the whole Jiva Hill team for such a memorable stay.

The Chateau and the property's grounds are beautiful. The location and views were gorgeous and relaxing. One challenge was our laye arrival. We received a message through the Expedia platform about how to enter the establishment after 10 pm. Unfortunately, we were driving and didn't see the alert email come in. Expedia has our cellphone in our account, but they opted not to message us as I didn't have that setup as a default notification tool. Nonetheless, Expedia should do better because it is clear from our itinerary that we have been traveling across Switzerland over the course of week. That is where Expedia falls short. They don't take care of valued customers that spends thousands of dollars with them.and more. As for hotel, the pool is open from April through the end of October depending on weather. The hotel can get taxi service but it does not have 24 hr service. So the listing has some inaccuracies. The staff believe the listing mentions about late check-ins and the procedure, but if that is the case, it is difficult to fine. Expedia needs to do better on the listing information.
