"Der gesamte CheckIn-Prozess war sehr gut vorbereitet. Der Kontakt zur Leitung war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Wegen der großen Hitze wurde uns 1 Ventilator ins Zimmer gestellt, der bei unserer späten Abendankunft auch schon lief und die Nacht für uns erträglich machte. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Gemeinschaftsküche und den gemütlichen Aufenthaltsraum („Stube“) haben wir nicht genutzt; beides sah aber sehr einladend aus. "The property is nice with children to walk around, play and see animals. Unfortunately when we were there the SPA and Sauna were closed. It will be nice if the property posts the operation hours for sauna and SPA. There is also a small museum of tractors on side. You need to ask at the reception for them to open the door."

"In such high altitude, with the vanishing winter and melting snow, there are really a lot to explore in oberhof. The stay at the hotel was excellent and authentic. The breakfast has many variations everyday, the fruits and vegetables were really very fresh. The staffs were well behaved and have showed good hospitality. The wellness and spa amenities were top notch."

"Clean spacious room, driving up the mountain to get there at night (was also really foggy) was a little precarious. We arrived late evening so the restaurant was no longer open and there is no place close by to get snacks or anything. Had drinks in the bar area which were really good but having a pizza oven or something to heat up or make some appetizers would have really made it better. Staff were very friendly"

The staff person was quite nice and helpful, and while the front is not open all the time, it's easy to get in and out. It isn't a town that is open all hours, so don't expect to eat late at night, but it's definitely charming and the hotel was a part of that!"
