Lakefront Retreat - Deep Water Dock, Hot Tub, Game Garage, Bunkhouse

We are a long time premier host and this is a brand new listing at PK. Lakefront retreat at Possum Kingdom Lake featuring two cozy cottages and a bunkhouse, perfect for families or groups. The main cottage offers 2 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen), full bathroom, a sleeper sofa, and a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and gas range, plus an oversized covered deck and patio overlooking the lake, with a brand new hot tub and deck addition. The second cottage includes a big screen TV, kitchenette, and 2 bedrooms—one queen bedroom with an ensuite full bath, and one bedroom with queen-over-queen bunk beds. New ensuite full bathroom for the bunkhouse will be complete February 2026.

Situated on a deep-water cove, the property boasts a brand new hot tub, an expansive dock with diving platform, ladder, boat slip with lift, and fishing pier with green light. The nearly 1-acre lakefront property also includes a lakeside fire pit and a massive game garage with an authentic arcade skee-ball machine, competition-size shuffleboard, ping pong table, and an Xbox gaming area.

Perfect getaway. Beautiful property immaculately kept and beds were very comfortable. AC worked great; kitchen was perfectly designed and state of art. Outdoor living space had everything you could ever want. This place is best of the best.

Weekend getaway

This place is AMAZING! The home is lovely clean, and well equipped with anything that you may need. The property is amazing. It is well equipped with water toys, fire pit & lawn games. The dock was so much fun! Fishing, swimming, floating and all things lake. It was perfect.

Great fishing trip!

My husband and i were looking for somewhere that we could fish right out our backdoor, this was it. It was 106 degrees everyday, I still fished, the breeze 7nder the covered dock made it not so bad, and i caught several catfish, all around 6 pounds. The place was great, had everything we needed, will stay again!

Independence Day Celebration

This was the perfect location for a fun 4th of July getaway. The kids enjoyed fishing, swimming off the dock and smores on the firepit. House was clean and welcoming. Owners did great communicating when we had some AC issues which they resolved. We hope to be back.

Great home on the lake

Our family had a wonderful stay! Plenty of room, fully stocked, and lots of little extras to help you feel comfortable during your visit. The beds were super comfy, lots of linens for the entire family, and very well decorated. Location was easy to access and convenient for us as we were in town for a baseball tournament at Rocker B Ranch. The kids had some success fishing off the dock landing their first striped bass and a few other bass species. The owner was very helpful and quick to communicate if we needed anything. We look forward to staying here again!

PK Vacation

We really enjoyed our week long stay here. Lou and Wes were very accomodating to our needs and did a great job! This well maintained property has a great yard that goes right down to the water's edge. The home and bunkhouse are very well done and modern with a full host of amenities. The dock sits on a peaceful cove and offers some really good "green light" fishing. We would highly recommend this property to others.

PK getaway

We spent a quick getaway here and it was great. The house is very clean and comfortable with ample supplies in the kitchen. The patio is great for relaxing and grilling. The dock is setup for fishing and the owner was nice enough to lend his extra fishing supplies to us. We caught a few and a good time was had by all. Convenient location with supply stores and restaurants very close.

Beyond our expectations

We had a wonderful stay and this immaculate lake house. It is right off the water with a wonderful dock. We kept our boat in the dock overnight and never worried about it getting scratched or moving due to wakes because the house is in a wonderful little cove area. The kids enjoyed fishing, playing corn hole and badminton. We also enjoyed the s'mores basket provided by the owners. We hope to return next summer.

Quality Family Time

The house was immaculate. So clean and inviting. Everything you could ever need was already there. We definetly overpacked:) We loved the dock and fishing. Slice of Heaven

The property is absolutely immaculate! The yard and landscaping was so clean and inviting. We absolutely loved our whole stay. The property was exactly as described (actually even better!). Waking up and sitting on the oversized deck was a perfect way to start the day. The location of the property on the water is PERFECT! Great for our kids (and us) to swim, jump of the platform, paddleboard and fish! The dock is incredible! Plenty of room for all of us to be out there and not be on top of eachother. The beds were comfy and the bunkhouse was a dream for us having older kiddos! Lots of amenities available if you need them. Overall a great vacation!

Family Lake Trip

This property is so nice, and well taken care of. It will not disappoint. I know when looking at the property before booking I thought there is no way a 1 bathroom would work for us (7 people). But some how we all made it happen. The house itself is so nice, and very clean. I Loved the bunkhouse for the teenagers (13,16,18). The dock is also amazing. We spent most of our time out there, floating on the water, but mostly the fishing was the go too. Out of our party of seven, four of us managed to catch 22 fish in a four day span. The property owners are so very nice. They are very responsive and get back with you very quickly if you have any problems or questions. They also welcome you with a welcome S’mores basket which was a hit with all the kids. My Family gives this property a 10/10, we would definitely Love to go back.

Well deserved rating

This is not a rental where the pics look nice and when you arrive you realize it’s filled with cheap furniture and run down finishes. It is obvious these thoutful hosts take great care of their property and their guests. Everything was immaculate from the yard to the dock to the furnishings inside. We were welcomed with all the supplies for smores (including firewood any fire starters) and they put out the kayak as they knew we wanted to use it. The composite dock (no splinters!) is so nice and there were a ton of inflatable lake toys to use along with fishing gear.and life jackets. Such a lovely and quiet cove to enjoy peaceful mornings with coffee made from the fully stocked coffee bar. We had a slight issue getting the gate code to work, but the hosts were there to help before we even had a chance to ask. We had such a great weekend celebrating our son’s 18th birthday. Book this one. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Great All Included Lake Retreat

This place was absolutely amazing. Everything is new and all with modern finishes which is awesome for being on this lake. The cabin sits in its own gated lot with a huge boat covered boat dock thats lit at night for fishing. Bonus is the bunk cabin with 4 new cozy bunks, a frig, and of course TV. Every room has a TV and kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need to cook whatever you want including full spice rack. Not to mention the large covered back patio facing lake with lots of seating, dining table, and a new gas grill. They have a shed with everything you need for the lake including floats, fishing gear, and more. you can also request the kayak for free which is a must for kids and fishing afficianados. I can't recommend this place more for a short or long retreat on this beautiful quiet cove on Possum Kingdom lake. Owner is also great to work with. Very communatative and even sent items we left back very quickly without any trouble. Thanks for the hospitality Lou!
