My partner and I checked in on the 29th, in a comfort suite, room 206. When we arrived, staff were friendly and helpful, but the staff were not the issue. As we approached our room, the hallways, stairs, and particularly the mirror decorations were all dirty, setting the tone immediately. We got to our room, and quickly were disappointed. Although the facilities worked, with the exception of the cold shower, the cleanliness of the room was shocking. What we had been promised was not what we received. From the marks on the walls, to the mould in the shower, the entire place was just poor. We informed the receptionist, who was polite, and he told us the cleaner would do a once over. Even after this, we found that the only thing that had really been cleaned was the inside of the fridge. We were told that the black mould in the shower was not actually dirt, and neither was the marks over the walls, they were just ‘wear and tear’. We checked out early, and we’re genuinely shocked at our experience. I would say the reviews do not do the place justice from our experience. We have received no compensation, and have tried to take this up with Expedia, to which we were told there’s nothing that can be done. The hotel also claims that we never reported any issue with the room which is so frustrating.

We have a very professional cleaning team, which gives great importance to ensuring that everything is correct and in perfect condition for the satisfaction and peace of mind of our guests. Likewise, we have a room cleaning control in which all cleaning is recorded, including photos. If we had known that you were not satisfied with the cleanliness, or with the room, we could have found a solution to make you and your partner comfortable. Performing extra cleaning or changing rooms. We understand your annoyance and displeasure in order to solve the problem and your discomfort. At Poem suites our team is made up of professionals who are responsible for making our clients' stay a pleasant one. That is why we insist that any discomfort that a client may feel or disagreement be made known to us so that we can resolve it. Regarding the refund, we do not believe that it is the correct solution since, as I mentioned, we are at your disposal 24 hours a day to offer you solutions. Your stay was until March 7 and we thought that you were in your room, not that you had left before. We are not notified of his departure and we are not aware of it. We invite you to visit us again and give us a new opportunity where we can have a discount if you like and offer you one of our best rooms. Since we have different types to enjoy. Thanking you for the trust placed and your opinion.

Poems was the best place we have ever stayed! We had a double bed suite and were delighted with the quirky layout the quality and cleanliness of the suite. It was the most comfortable bed and pillows we have slept on.... There is a cafe on the corner that opens early for a fresh coffee and pastry for breakfast as well as a small market to buy fresh items or tourist bits. Easy walking distance to the esplanade and parking sites within the city. Highly recommend.

Bra hotelleilighet og flinke personell. Bare 2 min gåing til stranda. Selve leiligheten hadde noen nedsider. Handtaket til utedøren var løs, kjøkkenet og dusjen var ikke helt rent, og varme vatnet i dusjen varte bare 2 minutter før det ble iskaldt. Vi sa ifra til personalet og de fikset det nesten med en gang. Vi fikk til og med tilbudt 2 gratis vasker av leiligheten. Vi hadde en veldig hyggelig opplevelse hos poem suites:)

Nice Apartment in Good location
First we had an Apartment to the street side and it was very loud. Moreover, the toilet door didn‘t work properly which was a big problem. After complaining, they have us another Apartment which was great 😀. Location is great - near the beach and a lot of Restaurants around.

Had a good 6 night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel in a good position with just a few minutes walk from the beach, supermarkets and restaurants. Also, a very good and inexpensive bike hire shop is about a 10 minute walk.

Just like an apartment!
This was a spacious suite suitable for 3 people which had everything we could have needed for our stay. It was clean and well located. We had a good view of the port. It was noisy with nearby traffic but with the windows closed it was much quieter. The staff were helpful and always reachable by phone. Everything was very clean.

Sehr schöne und sehr zentrale Unterkunft. Alles ist sehr gut zu Fuß oder mit dem Bis zu erreichen. Der Strand ist eine Minute zu Fuß entfernt. Wir würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen.

Ei niin hyvä kokemus.
Huoneen saamisesta (wa viestistä) ei tullut mitään infoa ennakkoon. Saavuimme sunnuntaina ja paikalla ei ollut henkilökuntaa. Sisään ei päässyt ja esim laukkua ei saanut jätettyä mihinkään päiväksi. Huone saatiin myöhässä, myöhästymisestä ei tullut mitään ilmoitusta. Huoneessa tosi voimakas tupakan haju. Siivoojat olivat ystävällisiä ja auttoivat kun muuta henkilökuntaa ei tavoittanut.

I do not understand the high rating to be honest. For sure the pictures that were posted was not even close to what I stayed. The room was very humid and smelled like someone cooked in there right before we arrived. Towels have stains (black dirt looks like molds) and bed sheet also had a black stain. Warm shower does not last long enough for two people.

Wir haben uns im Poem Suite wohl gefühl. Das Zimmer ist sehr hübsch & stilvoll mit schöner Deko eingerichtet. Es vermittelt Gemütlichkeit. Das Doppelbett ist bequem und die Fenster halten den Straßenlärm gut ab. Das Zimmer mit Meerblick zeigt zum Hafen, nicht zum Strand. Praktisch ist auch die Ausstattung mit Waschmaschine und Küchzeile. Der TV hat nur spanische TV-Programme und einige Musikkanäle. WiFi ist gut und schnell. Bei unserer Ankunft war alles sauber, jedoch müssten die Ecken der Duschkabine mal mit Schimmelspray gereinigt werden. Negativpunkte: Die Duschkabine im Zimmer ist zwar stylisch, jedoch hat man erhöhte Feuchtigkeit im Raum, da es keinen Abzug gibt und es sehr laut ist wenn man das Fenster öffnet. Die Klimaanlage schafft es nicht die Feuchtigkeit raus zu kriegen. Auch roch irgendein Abfluss an 2 Tagen als wir Abends ins Zimmer kamen unangenehm. Der Warmwasserboiler im Klo ist zu klein. Man kann nicht mit 2 Personen nacheinander heiß duschen, selbst wenn man den Boiler auf komplett heiße Stufe stellt. Er hat nicht genug Wasservolumen. Die Verarbeitung der Einrichtung und Deko ist qualitativ schlecht. Die Druckfunktion der Küchenschränke funktioniert teils nicht und da es keine Griffe gibt ist es manchmal schwierig sie zu öffnen. Die Hängedeko fiel am ersten Abend von der Wand, weil der verwendete Dübel für das Gewicht der Dekoelemente zu klein ist. Alles in allem is es eine modernes Hotel in guter Lage bei dem man über Kleinigkeiten hinweg sehen muss.

Sijainti, sijainti ja sijainti! Hyvä nukkua.
Vietimme kahden viikon Kanarian lomastamme kaksi yötä Las Palmasissa, Tämän hotellin sijainti on yksinkertaisesti täydellinen. Rantakadulle, kauppahalliin ja Catalinan puistoon on vain muutama askel. Myös akvaario ja ostoskeskus ovat kävelyetäisyydellä. Ainakin ylemmissä kerroksissa on hiljaista ja rauhallista nukkua. Huoneessamme ollut amme olohuoneessa on hauska vaikkakin epäkäytännöllinen. Henkilökunta on hyvin ystävällinen ja avulias. Sänky on hyvä ja keittiö astioineen riittävä. Tulen varmasti uudestaan yöpymään täällä.
