Very clean and well maintained property. Staff are friendly. Great air con. Bathroom modern. Rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. All day availability for sun loungers, day beds and 2 hot tubs near the pools without any problems. Cocktails very nice and reasonably priced. Good range of music played outdoors around pool areas. Didn't eat breakfast here so couldn't give a rating. Fake grass, so less insect bites! Hotel is around 15 minutes walk to the beach. Eating out is easy locally, in the nearby streets, shopping mall or nearby the beach at reasonable prices. This complex is all at ground floor level and is relatively small compared to the high tower hotels nearby, but is cosy, quiet and intimate if this is what you need. Good hotel for couples or solo break. The negatives - breakfast is a little expensive considering you need to choose individual breakfast plan, continental, full English or American style. For the price a buffet style would be more appealing. Breakfast time is a little later/shorter than usual from 9am - 10.30am being a smaller complex. For those 2 reasons I dined out. Dissapointing no English language TV channels. Download your movies in advance. Reception opening hours 9am - 11pm, which could prove to be a little inconvenient. So if you need to check out early before reception opening time, do it the evening before! Otherwise side door is accessible. Emergency info on the wall outside reception. I would have no problem staying here again. Lovely!

Lack of Spanish Vibe, Thin Walls
I recently stayed at the Sanom Beach Resort, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The resort seemed to be primarily populated by English and German tourists, lacking the authentic Spanish vibe I had hoped for. While the rooms were acceptable, the thin walls between them were a significant drawback. I could easily hear my neighbors, including the sound of flushing toilets, which impacted the overall comfort and privacy. To add to the disappointment, the hotel only provided coffee pods, and when I requested teabags, I was told there would be an additional charge. This struck me as unreasonable, as most hotels typically offer a variety of complimentary beverage options. The towels provided were also notably dirty, suggesting a lack of attention to cleanliness. Moreover, the pricing of the hotel did not align with the quality of the services and amenities. The Jacuzzi, a feature I was looking forward to, was unexpectedly closed during my stay, adding to the overall disappointment. In conclusion, I found the Sanom Beach Resort to be overpriced for the experience it offered. The lack of a Spanish ambiance, thin walls, additional charges for basic amenities, and cleanliness issues make it challenging to recommend this resort to others.

My staying was really, really nice: everyone was very professional, efficient & friendly and, if I am allowed, I would like to mention Maria and Joel in particular. Thank you to all! I have no hesitations in recommending Sanom Beach Resort to anyone looking to spend a nice, relaxing holiday without... screaming kids around. It needs to be said, because that's a huge PLUS! Great value for money too.

Excellent location, I was there for Winter Fetish pride - it’s a 5 minute walk from Yumbo and has lots of great facilities around. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Good but for adjoining rooms.
You’re at the merci of the people in the adjoining room. We had nightmare people - so loud all the time. It should be noted that all rooms are adjoining. Overall would have been great but didn’t get much sleep over 5 nights.

Very Nice
Very comfortable and tidy with rooms cleaned daily. However the bed sheets were not changed in the 7 days we stayed. The pool was not heated which one would expect in January also one of the Jacuzzis was barely warm. Bar staff had no idea about cocktails but other than than - Very Nice. Would I return - Yes.

Absolutely over the moon with my whole experience at this place . From check in to the rooms, pool are and facilities. Staff so attentive. Nothing a bother. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms cleaned every day . Pool area so so clean . I could not have been more happy with this place. Excellent location. 2 mins walk from Yumbo center. By far one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a long time. Stayed 13 _20 Jan . I would recommend this place 100% . Very chilled out relaxing feel to the place . Young lady at the pool bar could not have been anymore helpful. Excellent . Oh and the rainfall shower was fantastic.

Identity crisis
Although this location identifies as a hotel there is very little about it that actually makes it one. This was a forma bungalow complex and it is still trying to get over this forma identity. The rooms if you can call them that are ok however the facilities are not. No food during the week at the pool bar only weekends. No evening meal or lunch service. Reception is only available at certain time. The place looks amazing but it’s the detail that is missing. Hence the identity crisis it’s still trying to become a hotel even though it’s setup as bungalow complex

It is a new resort within an old one. Very nice rooms, clean, good bed,very good breakfast, near Jumbo Center. The pool in the back is nice, they were very close to finishing the jacuzzis too. It will be very nice when finished. We only had 2 things that we would expect, 1: in the bathroom we didn't find soap (there was shampoo, shower gel, body lotion ++), and 2: in the description of the hotel it states is Adult ONLY, but they were families with children while we were there. They were loud around the pool, it didn't d bother us, because we wasn't searching for an adult only resort, it just happened to choose this one,but i think most of the guest choose an adult only hotel because they don't want children around.

Will be lovely when it’s finished!
The room was good, very clean and very new, but to have to put up with the construction that was still going on around us (angle grinders while I tried to relax by the pool) and to see the facilities that would soon be added (but that weren’t these yet - like the bar (?) and the sun terrace) was a little annoying. The entry/exit to the complex was a long way from my room and the arrangements for re-entry after reception was closed (a conventional key to open the external and internal door) was not ideal as the keys didn’t work properly and even when exchanged for another, still had to be jiggled in the lock to try to get it to work (simply poorly-cut copies of the master key) - electronic locks, like those on the room would have been much better! The sliding door to my room malfunctioned regularly and was very difficult to secure from both inside and outside the room - again poor workmanship and when checked by staff, they said it was working fine (so blamed me for not being able to operate it effectively). The buffet breakfast was excellent and there was always plenty of choice and freshly cooked. A microwave and a hot plate in the room would have been good to have. One last point: as an “adult only” resort, I would have preferred to be able to sunbathe and swim naked - so maybe you should consider an FKK/clothing optional policy?

Dissapointing - Hotels.com Description Wrong
This is a brand new complex and when I checked it, there were many aspects that were still being built. So expect some building noise. There is no reception, the entrance has had the sign mostly removed and the door locked - you have to go to the compex next door. There are many aspects advertised on the Hotels.com website that are incorrect. It is NOT an adult only property, there were families opposit and beside my room. There is no swin up bar - in fact the bar was closed the whole time I was there. I couldn't find where the breakfast was being served, I think it was in the complex next door. The room was lovely however, and maybe when it's opened and they have finished building, it will be nice. Very disapointed with Hotels.com - their description is wrong. I would never have booked if I'd known it had young & loud children in the complex. And by the way, it's not a resort, and it is nowhere near a beach.

A modern upcoming room and resort at great value
A modern resort which is developing itself. We were licky to get a room by the pool which is my tip. JB was great for the price and never busy. A good stay for the price we paid.

Great stay at Sanom Beach. Excellent location.
Had an excellent stay at this resort in March. Having made the booking quite late, I read reviews about construction going on at the resort that almost led to me cancelling the booking but I am so glad I didn't! Yes, as the resort is new they were still finishing things off but nothing that disturbed our holiday at all. We wanted to be somewhere close to bars and restaurants and the resort is only around a 5 minute walk to the Yumbo Centre so this was perfect. I actually didn't realise when I booked our holiday that we would be there during the Carnival! As most of the things going on were in the Yumbo Centre at night, we were best placed at Sanom Beach for everything during the Carnival. I'm not sure why people are writing about the confusion of having to check in at the San Valentin part of the resort. This was clearly pointed out to us via an email from Yurena before we arrived. Yes, this part of the resort does look a bit dated but I'm sure this will be due for refurbishment soon. All the staff at the resort were extremely friendly and helpful. There was no hairdryer in our room when we arrived but one was brought promptly when I pointed this out. We had an issue with the door not locking at one point but again this was sorted promptly. The rooms were bright & clean & had plenty of room for 2 people. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and I have to mention Hector and Eva in the bar, Karina at reception, Johana in housekeeping and Carmen in the restaurant.

The Bungalows are very good and the breakfasts such that we didn't need lunch. The resort is a work in progress but this didn't impinge on us at all. Our main complaint is that it shouldn't be advertised as a beach resort as it is in a very built up area and is a good 10 to 15 minutes walk to the nearest beach . However the buses are very good and inxpensive to all areas of the island

I loved the fact it was all new and modern The staff where very friendly and all spoke good English The room was very spacious and kept lovely and clean daily The bed linen was very good and great fluffy towels Small fridge in the room was great especially as I spent a lot of time by the lovely clean pool so could pop back for a cold drink. Over the weekend the pool bar was open I would have used it more if it had been open my whole stay plus they may think about serving coffee from there. My only criticism was the Restaurant was two small and open for two hours for breakfast period I think if they opened a bit earlier it would relieve the pressure I would definitely stay here again if I come back

Unfinished Resort
Although the Room was clean and modern and is a stone throw away from the Yumbo Centrum. We was let down by the Reception area which is currently for the resort next door and is old and not welcoming. Areas of the resort was still a building site and u cold hear drilling and smell pain fumes from around the pool area. The restaurant Free Breakfast was Lovely but the Paid for Half Board meals were really bad. Most food was like jelly and cold and no descriptions of what the dishes are around the buffet area.

Excellent Hotel with some building work going on
March 2019....Beutifull brand new apartments... Extremely comfortable beds! The Hotel is having a major refurb going on and the rooms are first class, you won't be disappointed with the room... Outside there's work going on fitting/tiling the walkways, installing a jacuzzi, day dream beds etc but I'm sure will look beautiful once complete!!.. As it stands at the moment in March 2019,the restaurant and reception area are looking dated but am sure the full refurb will include these further down the line... Food was OK, not great, not bad.. Sufficienct but nothing to remember or say anything bad about.. limited choices in the evening meal especially if your vegetarian... Overall OK as a bit of tea, nothing fancy.. Staff, as with 95% of Spanish hotels we're very warm, welcoming and hard working... I did feel some internal stress/polotics between staff members which appeared to me as being overworked and underpaid, allthough did a superb job in looking after the customers...The security man was lovley.. I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of him!, but a lovley friendly man who went out of his way to help with little things that possibly wasn't even his job to do... On this occasion I've rated the hotel 4 out of 5 due to the incomplete refurb which to fare wasn't told to expect when booking!! allthough I'm confident that it will be 5 out 5 in a couple months so much so... I booked a second unplanned holiday whilst there, in the summer... I'd recommend this hotel.
