Great location a 5 minute walk from the Alhambra. It’s a good value for the location. It was adequately clean and the staff was friendly. Our windows opened onto the street, and we had great views!

Great location in the heart of town, easy walk to the Alhambra and the Albacin (forget Google Maps - look at a real map to see an easy, direct walking route), loads of restaurants, souvenir shopping and more upscale shopping nearby. The owners are extremely thoughtful and accommodating, and the price is outstanding. Yes, it's not a sleek, shiny $$$$ hotel, but it's clean and charming, and the shared terrace even has a view of the Alhambra illuminated at night. I planned to stay two days but ended up with a third, which is why you might see two reviews here by me. I highly recommend this pensión!

This Pension has so much potential, the owner is wonderful, the location is incredible, the view is fantastic and the cafe is perfect for breakfast. The only minus is the actual rooms. The pillows, the sheets, blankets, the towels are very old. And the rooms could use a bit of TLC, but we would probably stay there again because the owner is so nice and the workers are very helpful

This hostal has been run by the same family since 1956. While the rooms are modernized, the rest of the building retains its old-world charm.

The friendly, helpful staff, beautiful antique decorations and gorgeous terrace overlooking Granada make this a perfect place to stay. It's located right on the road to one of the Alhambra entrances, AND it's completely quiet and relaxing to stay here. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the shower was great. You can enjoy a perfect view of the Alhambra from the terrace too!

I gave the negative aspects for three reasons. First, let me say that I choose inexpensive lodging and I do not expect the Ritz. That said, when a property does not have a lift, their website should disclose that. The lighting was poor enough that when the overhead light burned out, it made a difference. Most importantly, I had NO hot water. None. I let it run for an unconscionable amount of time in an area that has a water shortage and it never moved off freezing. They could not have been out. It was about 7 in the morning. Horrible.

This little oasis in the heart of the old city is a jewel. So reasonably priced yet within 10 mins walk of the Alhambra (20 mins if your my age!). We were made to feel so welcome and wished we'd stayed another night. Next time....

Stay away from this hotel. It’s full with ants. We had to book another hotel because the room is full of antes. Also The rooms are upstairs you have to take so many stairs to get to the room with luggages almost broke my back. No WiFi, no iron. The light in the hallway doesn’t work. We had to use our phone flash to see the door knob. The pillows are too low. The shower is broken I had to hold it by my hand to keep it in place. The door makes loud squeaking noise.
