Dear Dakota, thank you for rating our hotel and your feedback. Yes unfortunately, the renovations are noisy! I apologize for the inconvenience it caused to you and your husband. As far as the A/C-Heater not functioning the way it is meant to, is not typical of the way we prepare our rooms for our guests. Prior to a guest's arrival our housekeeping staff inspects the room for cleanliness, amenities, and general appearance of the room. Once that takes place, one of our maintenance staff checks the room for anything that "works". In other words, they check the A/C, lights, plumbing, etc. Not sure why your unit was not working properly after their inspection. Regardless I apologize that the product quality and services were not what you expected and deserved. In spite of all that, I appreciate your recommending our hotel. Thank you for that! Our renovations will be completed by the end of February, and I hope you come back to experience a better stay.

Dear Brayson, thank you for rating the hotel and letting us know about some of the issues you experienced during your stay. I apologize for the condition of the bathroom with the loose tiles and water going everywhere. We have an excellent Maintenance staff and we certainly should have addressed those problems prior to your checking into the room. We recognize that our rooms have constant use and we are in the process of renovating every room in the hotel. We've completed the first floor and working on the 3rd floor currently. The second floor will begin around January 20th. As far as the no smoking and mention of illegal drugs, we have learned that the majority of guests do not consider smoking anything other than cigarettes to be in violation of the no smoking policy. It is simply a part of our communication with every guest that we cover the gambit of hotel policies so there is no confusion as to what is and is not acceptable. I apologize if our reference to marijuana offended you and your companion. The Hilton is a nice hotel and on the lake and all that. People have a choice and we understand your reference to them as the better choice. I am certain if you do decide to stay with us in the future, we can provide you with the product quality and services you expected and deserved. Have a Happy New Year!
