"Loved the vibe at The Bel Jou Hotel - very laid back with attentive, friendly staff. There’s even a self-serve bar at the lower pool. Can’t wait to return!"

"I recently stayed at Secrets St. Lucia and unfortunately would not recommend this resort. The experience started off on the wrong foot with a very confusing check-in process that took nearly an hour. Throughout the stay, most of the staff came across as rude and disengaged, with a few notable exceptions—Sanchey, in particular, was wonderful and stood out for their kindness and professionalism. The rooms themselves were disappointing. They felt dirty and not well-maintained, although I will say the bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The food was another major letdown—bland, overly salted, and generally uninspired across the board. It felt like very little thought or care went into the dining experience. Lastly, the events and entertainment felt poorly executed—more childish than engaging, and overall thrown together without much attention to quality. For the price, I expected a much higher level of service and overall experience. I left feeling very unsatisfied—especially after a manager argued with me when I tried to provide feedback, which only added to the disappointment. Overall, this was not the level of experience I expected, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again."

"Bruno & Sylvia were very welcoming. The cottage was charming, a little dated but fantastic views. The showers were refreshing as water never got too hot. The pool was a perfect size. You would need a car or make use of their recommended taxi driver, Egbert who was exceptional."

"Chancella (the host of this villa), is very sweet, understanding, patient, and accommodating. Upon arrival she gave me contacts for taxis, excursions & restaurants she recommended, and helped me anytime I had questions. Whether you are traveling with friends, family or alone, rest assured that this villa is not only very beautiful and quiet, but also very safe! 10/10 will definitely stay here when i visit again! "We loved our stay at the Black Pearl. The hosts are amazing. They were flexible when our flight was cancelled and were so welcoming! The view from the estate is beautiful and we loved the pool and the visits from Merlot, one of their rescue dogs. Highly recommend!"

"For the price it was right! Sasha was a wonderful, kind, and communicative host who provided helpful insights and resources when asked. We enjoyed our stay overall, although there were a few quirks to the property that we didn’t find out until after our arrival. -The kitchen was outfitted with convenient appliances-There were 240V and 120V outlets in all major rooms. -The location is conveniently located to Castries and Rodney Bay & not far from Gros Islet. -The courtyard is calming and peaceful, and living room was comfortable for movie nights. -This is a great place to stay if you are well versed in traveling abroad, and even better if you’re looking for a safe place to crash with little fuss. Things to note:-There was a fair amount of traffic nearby and near constant dogs barking, but the nights were also filled with pleasant songs of the local frogs. -Plan on renting a car for to stay here, as the cost of taxis added up quickly and this location proved difficult to use the Allez app (local uber/lyft) for returns.-This is on me, we should NOT have been surprised that AC was only available in the master bedroom due to the shutters in the photos. -Unfortunately there was a lot of mosquitoes in and around the area so we rarely used the pool.-The only real disappointed was that we were not informed in advance that the washing machine wasn’t working, as well as the waterfall feature on the pool. We were looking forward to the ability to do laundry during our stay. "

"The pool area in not well lit and therefore only accessible during the day. The pool itself had some leaves in it that did not move for the duration of the stay. The area felt a little isolated, dark and unsafe at night for persons who may not be familiar with st lucia custom( or so i was told). The hot water was not available upon our arrival and check in the first night. No one was available via phone nor at the property to sort it out until the next morning. An overall BELOW AVERAGE experience... we will NOT be staying at this facility for our future planned rips to the island "
