"We were at Bay Gardens for 7 days and it was great! The staff were pleasant and helpful, our rooms were clean and spacious. We had a fridge but no microwave. Breakfast was always delicious, dinner was a little expensive for us so we ate at local restaurants most evenings. Banks, supermarket, pharmacy/drug stores, fast food and local restaurants were 5-9 minute walk. We felt safe walking at any time of the day or night. Laundry room was old but functional and could use with some upgrades. There is only 1 washer and dryer on our block. We did use the gym which was small and we had it to ourselves each time. By the way, expect to pay for the washing and drying (you'll get tokens). Tours can be organized from this property and were great!! (They were on the expensive side for me with a family of 3 $800 for 2 tours but the tours include a lot- remember the tips). Yes I would definitely go back because of the people and how welcome and easy going it felt."

"Bruno & Sylvia were very welcoming. The cottage was charming, a little dated but fantastic views. The showers were refreshing as water never got too hot. The pool was a perfect size. You would need a car or make use of their recommended taxi driver, Egbert who was exceptional."

"We loved our stay at the Black Pearl. The hosts are amazing. They were flexible when our flight was cancelled and were so welcoming! The view from the estate is beautiful and we loved the pool and the visits from Merlot, one of their rescue dogs. Highly recommend!"

"For the price it was right! Sasha was a wonderful, kind, and communicative host who provided helpful insights and resources when asked. We enjoyed our stay overall, although there were a few quirks to the property that we didn’t find out until after our arrival. -The kitchen was outfitted with convenient appliances-There were 240V and 120V outlets in all major rooms. -The location is conveniently located to Castries and Rodney Bay & not far from Gros Islet. -The courtyard is calming and peaceful, and living room was comfortable for movie nights. -This is a great place to stay if you are well versed in traveling abroad, and even better if you’re looking for a safe place to crash with little fuss. Things to note:-There was a fair amount of traffic nearby and near constant dogs barking, but the nights were also filled with pleasant songs of the local frogs. -Plan on renting a car for to stay here, as the cost of taxis added up quickly and this location proved difficult to use the Allez app (local uber/lyft) for returns.-This is on me, we should NOT have been surprised that AC was only available in the master bedroom due to the shutters in the photos. -Unfortunately there was a lot of mosquitoes in and around the area so we rarely used the pool.-The only real disappointed was that we were not informed in advance that the washing machine wasn’t working, as well as the waterfall feature on the pool. We were looking forward to the ability to do laundry during our stay. "
