Friendly guesthouse, but not super comfortable

Very friendly owners at this quaint, provincial stay. The kids loved the play area, and the breakfast was good but the family room had very low ceilings so wasn’t that comfortable for tall visitors. We also felt quite conscious of the lack of soundproofing, as our baby wouldn’t settle and we got a few disapproving comments about it over breakfast. Not sure we’d rush to go back but it served its purpose as an overnight stop.

A hidden gem, near Rouen

I absolutely loved this place. It's situated in this small town or village on the single main road, opposite am ornate town hall. The building itself has manged to retain the historic vibe, while the rooms have been nicely renovated and have comfy, modern beds and showers with good pressure. The staff are the best thing about the place. So friendly and welcoming, I was passing through, but I'd happily spend longer here if I was holidaying in the region. Excellent English is spoken and the food at breakfast is simple and delicious, while the in house restaurant seems to be the mein attraction of the village and it's easy to see why. The menu gourmand is outstanding value and the food is fantastic. Secure parking at the rear is also free. Definitely coming back!

Cet hôtel se divise en une partie historique et une aile neuve. Les chambres éco sont mansardées et d’accès difficile par un escalier étroit, peu commode lorsque l’on a des bagages à monter. C’est la chambre que j’avais prise. Mes commentaires ne présagent pas de la qualité des autres chambres. J’avais donc une chambre minuscule et une salle de douche microscopique, sans penderies ni cintres. Toutefois, elle était repeinte à neuf, l’électricité refaite. La chambre était très propre, le restaurant sur place est un plus. Parking facile. Cette chambre convenait à un séjour d’une nuit, je recommande de mettre plus cher pour avoir plus d’espace, ou lors d’un séjour plus long.
