The place was absolutely beautiful, and we had so fun playing volleyball in the pool for hours. There was no shortage of showers, supplies, sleeping quarters, etc. An amazing property suitable for all ages.
This was our second time staying at this home with a few other families and it is the best! There is so much to do for adults and kids on the grounds, and we really enjoyed grilling, swimming, and using the fire pit at night. The home is modern and clean. It’s close to trails for biking as well, which is a huge bonus. We can’t wait to return again!
Very accurate description of the experience, this property is top notch and well thought out for the amenities. Highly recommend for family gatherings! Hospitality and staff was amazing!
The house was perfect for our bridal party to stay at. We had families with children that loved the pool as well as the adults. The house had lots of games and almost everything we needed for our weekend getaway.
Fantastic location and we had such a great time with our friends and family with plenty of space. Really loved how it was kid friendly because the kids had so much to do in the house and outside!
We thoroughly loved our stay. The home was clean, cozy and large enough to house our entire family. The host was amazing and addressed our questions right away. The views are spectacular, the fire pits, hot tub and pool all made our stay just that much more fabulous!
We had three families in our group and it was a great property for our group! There was plenty of space to spread out, the kitchen was well-equipped and everyone loved the pool. The home was very clean and it was easy to reach the owner/property manager. Great location - close enough to stores for groceries, etc. and many Western CO sights!
We had a wonderful week staying at the painted lady Vrbo. The home is cozy, Very clean, stocked with everything we needed, and the view out the windows was fantastic. Our large family had an amazing week of Making beautiful memories, thanks to Laura our hostess who was the most accommodating hostess A family could ever ask for. Thank you Laura. The swimming pool and hot tub were pristine and enjoyed by all. The location is great while enjoying Hiking and biking trails. Can’t wait to come back.!!!!!

Our family of 13 had a wonderful stay at this property! The outdoor space is top-notch and we had so much fun in the pool. Every detail was thought through. The kitchen had nearly everything one could need, and we really appreciated the policy of not throwing everything away after each guest. So, the fridge had a few staples, like mustard or salad dressing, that would be a waste to throw out each time. Same with spices and oil. Also, we loved how every light switch was labeled and we didn't have to purchase cleaning supplies or paper products. The easy check-out procedure was also great. We didn't have to do laundry, for example. The communication in advance and during our stay was also great. And, the location is fabulous. Great views and easy drive into town and to the grocery.
Overall, the place was nice and generally met our needs. We did have to empty a few garbages upon arrival. Also, all the kitchen knives need a serious sharpening with some cutting better with the spine (upside down). Some on the beds were very poor - the guest house bedroom was so worn it slept one couple like a taco (both rolling to the middle), and the sofa sleeper was so poor, we used the floor for that one.Pool & hot tub were great, as were the outdoor gathering areas. Kitchens and dining areas were good as well. Bathrooms & linens were good. One neighbor complained about noise, but our noise was silenced before 10 pm each night. Not sure what they were hearing, or perhaps they thought quiet time was suppose to be earlier. Either case, no offense taken here. We liked the place and the many area hikes, and perhaps with some bed and cutlery improvements, we will likely book again.
The location just outside of grand junction was super convenient and the property itself was fantastic, especially for larger groups. Communication with the host was great prior to check in and checking in was super easy
20 members of our family had a great stay.Plenty of room. Kitchen was great. Every morning began with breakfast TOGETHER Pool and area around pool was perfect.
We had a fantastic time at this property. The pool area was so much fun. We played a lot of pool volleyball. The house had space for everyone and was very clean and well stocked.
We just returned home from 4 days at this stunning estate in Grand Junction, it is one of the most beautiful properties in the Valley close to the Monument. The property was flawless and we truly enjoyed the indoor and outdoor space and spent our nights relaxing outside in total privacy well past midnight. Thank you for making this amazing home open to us, it is far more beautiful then the pictures even indicate. We've stayed at a lot of properties all over the US and this is one of our favorites!
We had a lovely time staying at this house! There was plenty of room for all of us and so much to do. Not to mention it is beautifully decorated and super clean. The kids had so much fun going from the tree house to the pool. We could have spent our whole trip just hanging out at the house but it is also so close to hiking, biking and downtown. We will definitely be back and only wished we could have stayed longer! Definitely recommend it:) 5 stars!!
Our stay at The Beatrice was outstanding. We hosted a family reunion and the spaces for gathering, both inside and out were perfect. We especially enjoyed the pool area and the large, open kitchen. There was also ample space for quiet moments for reading or napping. We played volleyball in the pool, horseshoes on the lawn, and card games around the firepit. The buildings were equipped with everything we could possibly need (the extra full bath in the pool house was so great to have!) and the manager responded immediately when we had a few questions. The property is within riding/walking distance of the Lunch Loops bike trail system and the paved road leading to the monument, and only a few minutes from groceries and gas. We highly recommend this property!
The property is beautiful. However the cleanliness was suspect. The small bedroom upstairs w queen bed had nasal discharge on the blanket (gross) and the occupants of the room wondered if the sheets had been laundered. The white rugs in both upstairs bathrooms were very dirty. Also we were in the middle of cooking a big meal on the outdoor grill and ran out of propane. The large outdoor firepit was not useable because of a bad unburned fuel smell.
