Enjoy a true cabin getaway in the Rocky Mountains in this 3 bedroom with private outdoor hot tub, large interior floor plan and in a quiet neighborhood but within a short drive to downtown Grand Lake and across from Shadow Mountain Lake for exciting summer water sports.
The cabin offers a total of 1,488 square feet of living space on two interior levels with an upgrade interior, 3 fireplaces and lots of amenities for a wonderful family vacation or weekend getaway to the mountains.
The lower level of the home has new carpeting, a sitting area with sofa to relax and read a good book with a wood stove for added ambiance. This area opens to the main living room that offers additional plush sofas that surround a second gas fireplace, a flat screen TV to watch your favorite movies or sporting events and access to the private outdoor hot tub where you can soak and enjoy the starry nights. A bonus area with two private patios to enjoy the summer nights or late afternoons surrounded by the forest.
The master bedroom on this level has a queen-sized bed, ceiling fan and small gas fireplace to help keep the toes warm in the winter! The main bathroom has a large countertop and full shower.
The upper level of the home is adorned with custom pine-paneled walls to accent the hardwood flooring and exposed wood beam in the dining and kitchen areas. There are two designed dining areas that offer plenty of spots to enjoy a meal anytime of the day and the main table has 2 large windows to enjoy the lovely forested views. The expansive kitchen is fully equipped for a chef’s dream while cooking! Access to the private deck is off the dining space and provides a wonderful spot to enjoy dinner and the BBQ grill during warmer months.
This level also has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and an additional bedroom with twin bunk bed. A full bathroom has a newer vanity and shower enclosure. A bonus game room with ping pong table and foosball in the unheated garage area.
The cabin location is a quick 5 minute drive to downtown Grand Lake to enjoy a number of dining establishments, live entertainment, the beach and water sports in the summer. During the winter season, take advantage of the local snowmobiling trails, cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
The home is 2 miles from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Kindly note there is a security camera on property viewing the driveway.
The home is not pet friendly but the owner does occasionally bring their dog - please let us know if someone has allergies so we may perform extra cleaning.
Guests are not allowed to smoke or bring pets onto the property as per the rules of the Homeowner Association. These regulations will be rigorously upheld, with a 200 fine imposed on guests who violate them.

Beautiful cabin

We loved our stay. The house had everything we could want or need. The fire pit and hot tub were great additions to the outside with deer wandering by while we enjoyed our time around the fire.

Summer Vaca

We absolutely loved the ping pong table and fooseball in the garage. House was clean and close to town and the park. The hot tub was great for chilly nights. We enjoyed our time there.There were a few days were the temps were warm and there were a few fans available, but I would bring more if you get hot easily.

Great cabin in a beautiful area!

The property was perfect for our family vacation! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and had a nice view from back porch. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. Grand Lake was an amazing place to stay close to Rocky Mountain National Park!

Hilltop fun house

Best stay we’ve had yet, home had beautiful views plenty of hills for kids to sled on. The hot tub was the best thing after a long cold day of sledding or walking the town. Will definitely book again!

Homey atmosphere

This location had everything we needed for relaxation in between excursions to Rocky Mountain National Park. We enjoyed family time here, including roasting marshmallows outside in the firepit, relaxing in the hot tub, playing games from the cupboard and in the garage (ping pong, foosball). The kitchen had everything we needed and laundry was convenient. No complaints at all!

Hot tub was great. Quiet area. Lots of rules and warnings about checking in and out a few minutes early or late. Lower shower door off hinge so not usable. Downstairs bed unusable until we flipped the box spring onto the correct side. Gas stove heat source in lower bedroom did not work, found a portable heater in a closet that worked.

Lovely stay

We had a wonderful time at the property. It was a great location with the perfect amount of privacy. The house was very comfortable. The children enjoyed the game room. Loved that the hot tub was covered since it started snowing when we got there. It made for a wonderful scenery.

Annually National Park Vacation

Our family of seven had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the house and took advantage of all it had to offer. We fixed all our meals in the well furnished kitchen, played games on the dining room table, and relaxed in the hot tub. The house was super clean and lived up to our expectations!

Wonderful stay for all ages!

We had the most wonderful stay! The location was perfect with close access to RMNP, fishing and boat rentals and the house was near spotless and well kept. After the long drives and hikes through the park, a nice soak was much appreciated by all - adults and kids aged 7-63. Being from IA, I was concerned about not having AC in July, but it really wasn’t an issue with the cooler overnight temps. I would not hesitate to rent here again or refer to a friend.

All the rooms, and overall house and property, were very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with necessities, such as pots, pans, dishes, glasses... etc. House was definitely roomy enough for four adults. Great location, close enough to town and RMNP. Thanks, we had a great time.

Mountain/Lake Love

We absolutely loved our stay. We were comfortable, happy, and taken care of. The home had everything we needed, including supplies for our little kids. The high chair and booster seat made life so much easier. The kids loved the toys and the game room. My only recommendation might be a little sprucing up of the game room area, as time allows. :) We would absolutely stay again and hope to be able to sometime in the future!

Rocky Mountain Cabin

This place was really clean and had plenty of space for our family. The location was close to the lake and restaurants. The backyard was awesome! We enjoyed the firepit and hot tub. Just a warning there is NO A/C. It is not listed on the listing but I assumed this was included. If you come in the summer it is really hot during the day. It did cool off at night but it was a surprise when we got there. Overall it was great I would stay again.

Wonderful experience!

The stay at this cabin was a wonderful experience! It was super clean & comfy! The kitchen was spacious & had everything necessary for cooking & grilling. The bed was very comfortable & family room with fireplace was also a great place to hang out with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. We were there when a snow storm hit & Maureen, the property manager was very responsive & fantastic to work with in answering our questions & helping to arrange for an extra night & later departure. The garage was a great place to spend playing fooseball & ping pong while being cold & snowy outside. Thank you for a great stay in this wonderful cabin!!

Absolutely Amazing!!! We LOVED your property! It was the perfect place for us to explore Rocky Mountain National Park. We visited the park almost every day and saw TONS of wildlife. We hiked a whole bunch of different trails and drove up to the Alpine Visitors Center. Best views in my opinion!!

Cozy Cabin

We loved our time in Grand Lake at the cabin. My husband and I agree it is our favorite vacation spot yet! The sm memories, decor, views and location were excellent! We were able to enjoy the wildlife and peacefulness in a space that felt like home!Thank you for your hospitality!
