Quiet Getaway
Beautiful and comfortable condo with view of Lake Superior. Quiet neighborhood. I wanted to spend a few days relaxing and recharging and this was perfect. I especially enjoyed the fireplace and the lake views.

Comfortable and Cozy
This was our 4th time staying in the Hile’s condo and we love it more every year. It’s the perfect home away from home to come back to after hiking and exploring the north shore. We cooked some of our own meals in the very well equipped kitchen and were close to great restaurants. We will keep coming back!

Condo overlooking Lake Superior
Perfect condominium for my husband and I during our visit to the Lutsen/Grand Marais area. The condo was well appointed - everything you could possibly need. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

Spectacular View
This was our second time at Terrace Point and we will return again. Beautifully appointed, very clean, excellent views, and close to nearby skiing and snowshoeing. The bed was extremely comfortable and we used the sauna every day. Highly recommend!

Personal Retreat Haven
Beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright inspired condo on Lake Superior immaculately kept and relly clean. Loved the well equipped kitchen, fireplace and views of the waves crashing against the shoreline. Privacy was architecturally designed in and you appreciated the vistas unencumbered sans blinds or shades.

Really lovely space, right on the water. Really enjoyed the quiet solitude it offered. Property Managers were super helpful when we were desperate to watch the Chiefs game and couldn't find it! :)

The setting is gorgeous, overlooking Lake Superior. The furniture and bed are extremely comfortable. It is tastefully decorated adding to the serenity. The location is convenient to hiking trails and Grand Marais. We will stay here again.

Great stay close to lots of hiking and food options
We had an excellent stay at Terrace Point. Communication with the owners was always prompt. They even checked on us twice via text during our stay to be sure everything was ok. We did have one issue that we mentioned to them when they first texted the morning of our first day. It was an issue with the Smart TV not working. The owners walked us thru re-logging in and resolved the issue via a phone call. The listings written details are accurate. The unit even had dishwasher soap, paper towels, sandwich bags, and Reynolds wrap..all little extra things that we used that many rentals do not supply. The unit was quiet and very clean and everything worked well. We would definitely recommend the rental. I would suggest, however, that the listing is adjusted to correct some pictures that do not seem accurate for this specific unit. The owners have other units on the same property and I think some pictures are from one of those units. While the views overall are very nice, a true unobstructed view (especially for a sunrise), in my opinion, is not available in this particular unit. There is also one picture that says that is a “sunset” view. Likely a typo and is meant to be “sunrise”. I think that is important to note for folks who may not be from the area. One can see the sun rise from the water, but one cannot see the sun set into the water as the unit faces east.

Great Vacation Spot
This is a beautiful condo right on Lake Superior. There's a path leading down to the large rocks along the shoreline - perfect for watching the sun rise over the the crystal clear water. Inside there's a private sauna, a sitting room with fireplace, and a well-stocked kitchen with dishwasher. The bedroom with king size bed is very comfortable. It's easy to drive into Grand Marais for dinner and there are many hiking paths in surrounding parks. The owners checked in to be sure we had everything we needed. We loved staying here!

Terrace Point is a gem!
We’ve stayed at Terrace Point several times and will keep coming back! We love the unit and the location close to town and right on the lake. Quiet, comfortable, well-stocked. The FLW style design is a bonus treat. Pam and Charlie are very responsive hosts.

Ideal Anniversary Getaway Spot!
This clean & quiet condo impresses beyond the photographs. Located minutes from Grand Marais, on the shores of Lake Superior, the setting offers quiet & relaxing focus while also affording quick access to excursions into town, to nearby hiking, golf, biking, and more. We booked this secluded spot to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and it couldn't have gone better. As foodies, we appreciate the fully equipped kitchen to execute our ingredients into celebratory meals. Pam was communicative and really helpful. We appreciate their family sharing this extraordinary spot. I hope to visit again!

Our Annual Getaway
We just can’t stop coming back to Terrace Point and Charlie and Pam’s beautiful condo! It has become a yearly long weekend that we really look forward to. We love getting out during the day for hiking and exploring the Grand Marais area. Then, it’s just as wonderful to come back to such a lovely condo where we can watch movies, read, work on a puzzle or just enjoy the incredible view of the lake. We hope for many more trips to Terrace Point.

Location is outstanding w/Lake Superior RIGHT THERE in front of you. Condo was spotless—super clean & tidy. The bed is awesome—very firm & comfy. This place is well-appointed with some pretty bougie stuff…yet… A blind (expensive wood kind) was broken & obscured part of the view; toilet was running and we fixed it; sauna did not work. At all. Got owner on the phone about it but it needed professional repair. We specifically chose and booked this place because it has a sauna. To their credit, the owners acknowledged this & refunded part of our stay (they originally offered an amount that did it seem adequate, and when we told them that, they responded with a fairer amount). So, on one hand, the place appears very well attended to: exceedingly clean and well put together. On the other hand, these owners apparently haven’t been very hands-on.

Beautiful, but needs more comfortable furnishings.
Beautiful location right on Lake Superior. Very private. Great base from which to do day trips, dining in Grand Marais etc. The living room furnishings don't really afford an opportunity to truly sit back and relax. They have low backs and no neck support. For us, the bed and pillows were hard and my husband ended the weekend with a very sore neck. The sauna helped offest some of the aches, but a more relaxing furniture style would put the property into the five star category for us. Thank you.

Can't Beat the View
This location is literally steps away from Lake Superior and the views are spectacular. The condo is clean and modern. Lighting (for someone with eyesight issues) was not wonderful - but it was romantic! Location is perfect for access to hikes and all that Grand Marais has to offer.

This was our 2nd time staying at one of Charlie and Pam's units. The condo is very comfortable, furnished with everything we needed or wanted. We just got married and spending our honey moon at this sweet little condo was wonderful! The views were spectacular and the hosts had the place stocked with everything you would need to have a comfortable stay.
