"My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Willow Bay. Check in was a breeze and the room exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and the furniture appeared to be brand new. The view of the Ocean was perfect for hanging out and enjoying a drink. Willow Bay has a great location right on the beach with lots of restaurant options near by. The pool and grounds were beautiful and peaceful. We love coming to Myrtle Beach and we will definitely be coming back to Willow Bay. "

"The only thing I did not like was having to park in the middle of the road to unpack vehicle due to hauling a trailer. Everything else was excellent!!! We will be back!"

"This hotel is in a downward spiral. Most of the gym equipment is unserviceable (Treadmills, Bikes, Elliptical) Hot tub jets not working in one tub. Noise coming from speaker sirens on the bedroom walls, so I had to wear ear plugs to sleep. Broken shower door, thumping sound from the AC. Inconsistent staff. A few really great employees that go above and beyond then the majority act as though you are interrupting their day when asking a question or making a request. Despite staying at this hotel over 10 times in the last 6 years, and identifying these issues prior. Nothing changes. Room service is impossible to order as they only have one staff member handling ALL room service orders. So you have to call room service, leave a message with your order, they never return your call and the order is never delivered. Or room service calls you back and they do not know what you ordered. We've told management that is not a sustainable plan but they have no authority to hire two more people to have a three person room service crew. One to take orders, one to make the orders and another to deliver. But they won't do that. Instead, they work one person to the bone, they quit and they have to start over. Very high employee turnover. This place is simply being mismanaged and does not have the effective full staff to manage what we all pay for to stay there. Sad. Because it has soooo much potential."

"We enjoy this hotel. The location is awesome and the pool area is nice especially with little kids! They have a one foot deep pool that was very accommodating for toddlers ! Personally would have liked to be a bit higher level we were on second floor but it was ok! My room had smudge marks on the wall, an old hair tie holding the drapes up and the toilet kept needing fixed in order to flush. Also fridge was freezing our food and the freezer was messed up. Beds super comfortable!!"

"Beautiful view, nice room it was just as pictured. Only gave 4 stars because our air conditioner had went out the first night and the whole unit had to be replaced the next morning. Maintenance were very responsive and quick about the fix and front desk was nice. Definitely family friendly. Nice pool and bar area that is connected to the beach. This stay was perfect highly recommend Ocean Reef Resort"
