Great place to stay with family. We very much enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the kitchenette was clean. The staff were welcoming. An area for improvement would be to better accommodate food allergies and sensitivities. Have ingredients of menu items quickly available. Could keep a gluten free item such as a loaf of sliced bread or muffin frozen and pull out as needed for a guest. The hard boiled eggs were great for a gluten and dairy free family.

Hotel was more run down than originally anticipated. Seemed like mostly working men. Not the best for families, though pool was nice. Kept up by neighbours partying next door till 3am. Felt like they were in our room as we had a connecting door. Not the safest feeling as I was travelling with just me and my toddler.

The staff were really great, courteous, friendly and helpful. The beds were really uncomfortable, there were not enough blankets to get warm, the A/C unit could not be set to blow out warm air, though I tried more than once. Breakfast was awful, no eggs or sausages (we were told it wasn't a sausage day!), One toaster didn't work properly, put bread in three time before moving to the other one. Omelets were like rubber and the bacon was crisp (as I like it, but perhaps some people may not like it that crisp) and virtually tasteless and very fatty. The jams were of poor quality. All in all not a good experience at what so ever. We were told, by the gentleman at the front desk, that as the reason for us going to Grande Prairie was my wife's hospital appointment we could have had a reduced rate. This was not mentioned in any of the advertising blurb we saw about this place. We will NEVER go near a "Quality Inn" again!!!

Room was great. Everything but the bathroom. Sink / toilet&shower were separate. Shower/toilet room was a bit small to maneuver. Shower water spray/pressure was less than ideal. Breakfast was “ok”. Fairly minor weaknesses. Otherwise a good stay.
