"First time in Texas, booked the hotel via Expedia. Not sure if it was me at time of booking or after but we ended up getting a room that was handicap accessible. There was not many places to put our luggage, the bathroom had little counter space, there was no hot water in the bathroom sink (not accessible related I'm sure), there was an adjoining door and we could hear the folks in the next room, the extra lock on the door didn't work and the AC seemed to be too cold, and when we turned it up, it got really humid. I'm not one to complain but the front desk ladies were so sweet so I asked if there was a chance we could change rooms. Luckily there was another room, not accessible, that we were able to switch to and that one was perfect! Lots of counter space in the bathroom, functioning AC and hot water, no adjoining room. The only issue I had was how close the bed was to the AC unit. We had 2 queen beds and the AC unit would blow right up against the side of the bed. It was hard to sleep with cold air blowing on me. The fan was on low and auto but when it was on, it was freezing! I ended up pulling out the ironing board and hanging a bath towel from it so the front of the AC unit would blow against the towel and that helped A LOT! The breakfast was only 6-9am which for me was closed too early but coffee was always available. Hotel was very quiet, pool was in a great spot and not crowded and water levels of chlorine etc was perfect. Front desk ladies always polite. Good hotel."
