"Magnificent stay! Lovely host. Excellent food and surroundings! Beautiful room. "

"Lovely, comfortable hotel with a fantastic restaurant right next door "

"Excellent location just 2 minutes from the beautiful beach. Our room was spacious and very clean the a balcony overlooking the street and with a sea view. The morning sunrises were outstanding. The owners and staff are very friendly whilst remaining professional at all times. "

"Buffet breakfast was good. Tea and coffee available at any time was good. Location was very good."

"A quirky guest house, not really a hotel, in an old building. The room was spacious and comfortable, although somewhat sparsely and quirkily furnished. The bathroom was large, modern and clean. Antoine, the host, was charming and helpful. A short walk into the town centre and cathedral makes this well situated to visit Coutance."

"Very comfortable guesthouse in a vintage norman hamlet a stone’s throw from beautiful Coutances and chateau des Gratot and western Cotentin wild beaches"

"Pas de problème "

"Veldig koselig hotell , har vært der mange ganger. Dessverre ble det mye rot med hun som var i resepsjonen. Pratet veldig dårlig engelsk og hadde ikke orden på noe."

"We had a wonderful stay. The grounds are just as charming as the room. The owners are such lovely and attentive people. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Normandie. "

"Our first time staying at a Brit Hotel. The staff, even the ones that did not speak English were extremely friendly and helpful. A special commendation to Elise who went above and beyond to help us. Room and food very good for the price. Great value for money. We will definitely stay again if we need accommodation in the area."

"We had a lovely stay, the hotel and staff were very accommodating and welcoming to children. "

"Excellent accommodation in a beautiful location. Stylishly furnished, extra large bed, and a great powerful shower. Lovely gardens with a great pool. Superb breakfast. All provided by great hosts."

"The information says the hotel has air conditioning, when we got there, there was no AC in the rooms only in communal areas, when I tried a refund as I had been Miss sold I was told it was not refundable. It was over 30 degrees that day so not much sleep - I never would have booked if I knew there was no AC in the rooms only!"

"Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."

"Great little place, the kids loved it. Spacious inside (with a few steep stairs), lovely host, idyllic setting, a few animals to pet and feed outside. "

"Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in a family room for 1 night. Very clean, excellent shower. Ideal for us, will definitely stop here again."

"This place was stunning and spa an added bonus "

"Wonderful place to stay. The room and the breakfast was delightful. Our landlady was very friendly and helpful"

"A nice clean hotel not far from the centre of town. Amazing staff who were both friendly and very helpful."
