Was very warm and cosy inside. Valerie is the perfect host, warm and friendly. Perfect welcome drink of home made Calvados. Gorgeous garden and sun trap. Beautiful friendly dog next door. "From start to finish the owner was amazing. Great communication and when we arrived check in was seamless. The house and grounds are nothing but amazing. "We spent 2 nights here in mid August and had an fantastic stay. My 10yr old Son is a WW2 enthusiast and in his own words "an amazing hotel with some really interesting relics, the room was fantastic and looked like a 1940s bedroom, would definitely stay again". Such a nice place to unwind after a day of sight seeing and the owners put up a great breakfast so youre ready for the next day! Cant wait to return!"

"A surprise gem, slightly older hotel so unsure when we arrived but the staff are wonderful and the location is great, walkable (20mins down the hill and back up) to the town. A really pleasant stay."
