    is a cosy oasis of tranquility built of stone and wood nestled in lush greenery and surrounded by the woods, situated in a spot that’s incredibly lively thanks to the birdsong. Via Ganda winds through the hills, offering a breathtaking panorama that’s love at first sight—and a bit of madness, too.

    The lakefront is about a 20-minute walk along the pedestrian path through the woods, or just over 5 minutes by car—the same time it takes to reach supermarkets, the hospital, the ferry terminal, and various types of shops. The shores of Lake Como are teeming with green spaces and pebble beaches, as well as bars and sports facilities for stand-up paddleboarding, tennis, paddle tennis, a football field with a track, an outdoor gym, sailing, and the beloved kitesurfing. A half-hour drive away is a shopping centre, perfect for a rainy day.
