"The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I liked the early evening gathering at the beginning of the evening. But, we were put in a room the was used for people with pets. We did not have a dog. The room smelled like a dog. It was clean but it had a dog smell. It was a nice day out, so we opened the windows. This was the only thing about the hotel that I did not enjoy. Oh one other thing. The fee of $13.00 a night for parking I thought was a little ridiculous also."

"For a $60 a night price weekday stay as I came in 11:30 pm off Jetport airport. This is a good place to stay in. Easy parking and staff are super efficient and helpful. Very pleased. I had more bad experience on a $300/night I booked in Boston Airport Embassy Suites. Highly recommend this place for the price and the kindness of staff with proper manner and good communications."

"Stayed here for a night as I returned my car rental and to head out to Boston which is very convenient to get to the Downeaster Station with little walking. It was a very quiet stay and room is clean for a good $90 stay. Totally recommend it. The Tony’s Donuts are amazing also and gas station in front of the hotel. I expected less but I end up very pleased with the stay."

"The inn is an older nostalgic hotel that has unique charm and challenge. It is a surviving relic from a different era, so don’t expect elevators or high tech. The stairs are a challenge for some, as are the low sinks and toilets. It’s a cost effective overnight stay, but that is the best part. Aged charm has its appeal, but if you need comfort and convenience, probably not for you. The breakfast is convenient… just hit or miss on some days. Parking is tough for a large SUV, so be aware."

"Staff ensured our room on check in was quiet. Except there was a night club across the street. Then when asked for a new room was told by staff “that they would bet their career it would be quiet”. The room was one floor up on the same side … Couldn’t sleep until after 1am because of the club across the street"

"We did not have a good experience in this Doubletree hotel. We asked for an early check-in, but no room was available. We waited in the Lobby for two hours before our room was ready. We walked into our room, only to find a blood spot on the top sheet of the bed. We called the lobby, and by coincidence, my husband walked outside of the room and saw a woman pushing a housekeeping cart. He asked about the stain and she introduced her self as a supervisor. She walked in and stripped the bed completely. She said it would be taken care of. We left for a couple of hours and returned to a clean bed. When I went to use the bathroom I found dirt on the floor. I scooped it up with a tissue, but there was more. It was late, so we just went to sleep. We had to catch a very early flight the next morning and left without reporting that incident. We won’t be staying there again."
