North Lakes Hotel And Spa
Had to pay extra for using the spa facilities however we went down twice during our stay and you could have just walked straight in. Didn’t check if we had paid or not.

Shap Wells Hotel
The staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food was very good. The hotel is very comfortable, well furnished and very quiet being a little remote. No outside noise and very little noise inside the hotel even with coach parties staying over. Looking forward to my next visit.

Days Inn by Wyndham Kendal Killington Lake
So checkin staff was great, but rooms were so tired, and whole place was dark and miserable. Parking was basically in the service station, which did not feel at all secure. Again, staff were great and helpful.

Beautifully appointed cottage in extensive grounds
The cottage’s atmosphere was very welcoming and we felt like we were at home.

Sleeps 6 in the Cumbria Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks.
Lovely home, and a wonderful base for exploring with our family. We hope to come back in future!
