"Check-in and reception staff were very accommodating. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean with a great attention to detail. The bed and bed linen were extremely comfortable. "This was misleading advertising on Hotels.com. I selected a tent with 2 queen beds and a bunk bed for about R1700. Just before we arrived I got a call from the hosts and let them know that 2 friends would arrive 30 minutes before us. I was told that I would have to pay an additional R790 for them because they charge extra each person over 2. This was not made clear on the app. This accommodation was not worth over R2,500 for the night. Unhappy guests who feel ripped off."

"Booked to stay here for 2 nights after reading the reviews and we are so glad we did. From the moment we checked in and being greeted in the lounge with a drink and then being escorted to our room was such a nice touch. The grounds are beautiful and we wished we could have just stayed here for the 2 days and relaxed but we had plans in Knysna and Plettenberg. We had dinner in Zinzi and thoroughly enjoyed it and the breakfast was very good. The best thing about Hunters is their staff though. I wish I had made a note of all the names but Golli who greeted us was so lovely as was Ace when we had drinks by the firepit. Our breakfast waitress was amazing too but I did not get her name. We will definitely be back as loved the place. "

"Wish we had been able to stay another night as we loved this place so much. It's in such a beautiful spot with spectacular views over the bay. Reception staff were all so friendly and welcoming and we had a fantastic dinner in the on-site restaurant that night with great customer service too. Worth noting, there is a fairly long and steep hill to the shops/cafes/restaurants in the town so if you had mobility issues that may be a problem (unless you were driving)."
