Lovely quiet property. Delicious breakfast buffet every morning was a perfect way to start the day. We really enjoyed the friendly staff and the view from our balcony. It is a little away from the hustle and bustle of Tsilivi and Planos but it had one of the few parking lots in the area which is why we picked it. We really enjoyed the city of Tsilivi. Great place to stay on the island. There were a couple things we didn’t particularly like, the toilets only allow flushing every 15 mins so you have to wait to flush sometimes. This may be because of the type of plumbing I’m not sure. The beds were beautiful but too stiff for my back. There are no usb ports for US visitors fyi. Overall very happy with our stay.

Our stay at The Balcony Hotel was amazing and everything we had hoped for. When we arrived we felt so welcome and throughout our stay the owners and staff ensured that we were happy and had everything we needed. Nothing was a problem to them and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our room and view was beautiful, very clean with new towels and water every day. Breakfast was great with lots of variety. It was a quiet at night even next to the road, allowing us to get a great nights sleep and well deserved rest. We will definitely be returning in the future and we can’t wait. An amazing holiday in an amazing place, made better by this hotel.

The property is on nice location with great view and easy for shopping and dinning. The room is comfortable and clean. Hotel staff is very nice providing us with the useful information regarding the tours and activities. And I like the cats:)

Great location, views over the bay, friendly & welcoming staff, good variety of food available at breakfast & restaurant for evening meal superb & not expensive. Shame there is no swimming pool or sunbathing area. It’s position is ideal for an infinity pool. It’s also a bit of a trek to beach.

We loved our two night stay at the Balcony Hotel. Everyone was very attentive and courteous. Room was immaculate. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Overall a wonderful stay with wonderful views. Great communication as well. Assisted in making tour arrangements and airport transfers. Definitely recommended!

The best hotel in Zakynthos.
The hotel is amazing! The view is the best in Zakynthos. Everybody that works there is great and make you feel like you are home. The hotel restaurant has a great view and excellent food. I highly recommend this hotel if you plan on visiting Zakynthos.

What a view! Great breakfast buffet. Staff could not be more helpful, thank you all. Location was close enough to town and anything you want to do. (Hint - rent a car). They placed us in a newly renovated room. It was beautiful. I just want to give some helpful tips on improving the room. There are NO towel racks, placing the clean towels on the bed is a nice touch, but very inconvenient. There was never a second roll of toilet paper in the room and no place to hang one. All rooms need that. Finally, we could use a box of facial tissues in the room as well. If that is all I have to complain about, you know we had a great time. Thanks Dave & Liz

Wonderful Stay!
Our stay at Balcony Hotel was wonderful. From the greeting we received, to personally showing us around the hotel and to our room, the staff was amazing. The room was spotless and the views were stunning. Breakfast is one of the best I've ever had. Our dinner at the restaurant upon our arrival was fantastic. The beach and the town of Tsilivi are an easy walk from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel!

Confusing way to run the hotel!
Attentive service (with some fake smiles!!!) but the main problem is breakfast! Pastries, Eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms are not HOT!The service starts at 8am and even this time is almost cold. If you come at 9am IT IS COLD!We guests are NOT ALLOWED to sit on the terrace where is sunny in the morning...Plus they have Weddings almost everyday and lots of children...So its not adults only. The bathroom every morning smells gutter when you first use it...

Amazing views away from the tourist crowds
We had the most gorgeous view from our seaview room - I would highly recommend paying the little extra for the view. We ended up spending so much time on the balcony, enjoying the view and the sunset. The hotel is about 20 minute walk from the town centre and 10 minutes from the beach, but we were so happy we stayed here as the town is pretty loud, tacky and touristic so it was nice to have this quieter, more elegant place. Breakfast was great - relatively small option but all handmade, nice Greek dishes instead of big tasteless buffets as some other hotels have. So much taste and you eat in the garden with the gorgeous views. Room itself was a bit basic and clinical but practical, modern and clean - and you spend time on the balcony anyway. Service was amazing and the staff always were so helpful and cheerful. If you go to Tsilivi and want quieter, more elegant holiday than the tacky town centre then definitely stay in this hotel - we really loved it.

Excellent hotel
We had a lovely stay at the balcony, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a great view from our balcony room 201. Love walking down to the beach through the sea! The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and aircon was good to have too! I did wonder if the hotel would beages from any restaurants/shops but it’s just a 15min walk down the hill so it’s in a great location. We ate dinner one of the nights of our stay and this was also excellent and tasty-especially the chocolate soufflé. Thankyou to everyone at the balcony!

It was very good, the staff at Balcony Hotel were polite, conscientious, and very helpful. They’ll do whatever they can to make your stay the best it can be! Not to mention, the view is beautiful, and it’s a short 5-10 minute walk to the beach and town. Would 100% stay here again, no doubt about it. Great value for what you pay.

I really enjoyed my stay here! It was only for a night but the room was really clean, updated and had a a beautiful view. I have to say, the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. Definitely felt the Greek hospitality here. They even let me shower after checking out before I caught my flight which is an amazing convenience for visitors. The restaurant was really good as well, would absolutely recommend this hotel.

What a view !
Beautiful hotel, staff could not do enough for you. Room was spotless and decor was very high class. Had sea view room, very spacious with beautiful bathroom and shower, ok sometimes shower was not the hottest probably just with everyone using at same time but still warm. Had 2 evening meals, 5* food and service and reasonably priced. Nice breakfast everything you need, well presented albeit could be set out with a bit more room to manoeuvre. 10 minute walk to beach, there are steps but not great as you had to wade thru water at the bottom, didn’t have issue with walking to and from beach, about 15 mins to main town. Very relaxing hotel with beautiful gardens and views. Would recommend to all.

We had a deluxe superior room with the most lovely view of the sea and grounds of the hotel The staff were very friendly and helpful, Breakfast in the morning was continental but plenty and all food very fresh, it was so nice to sit outside on the terrace whilst eating and enjoying the view, The beach was only a eight minute walk away, with good sun beds, waiter service for drinks and food and clean toilet facilities

Stunning view's, close to the beach
Amazing view over looking Tsilivi beach. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Also the food at the restaurant was fantastic. Overall, a brilliant hotel. Short walk into Tsilivi (15 minutes), and a small supermarket is 5 minutes down the bottom of the hill which was very handy.

A lovely hotel run by lovely people
I loved this hotel. The view was spectacular and the room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast consisted of a large buffet of very tasty food. I usually skip hotel breakfasts, but the buffet looked so appetizing, that I made sure that I was at breakfast every morning. Also, the bathroom was full of organic toiletries--wonderful olive oil soaps, lotions, and shampoos. Next, the restaurant food was affordable and good. I could not eat all of the food that was provided just for one dish. Finally, the staff was lovely. I cannot send enough praises their way. They were very helpful in arranging tours and taxis. They did everything for you. In fact, one of the managers drove me to the post office so that I could mail postcards. While many boutique hotels claim to treat the guest like family or like the guest is special, this one actually did. You will not regret your stay here.

After my experience at this Hotel, I can ensure you this it not a 2 star. I have stayed in many 4 and 5 star Hotels and this is on the same standards.Everything you read on the BALCONY HOTEL reviews is true.So Im not going to carry on and go and see for yourselves.

Wedding Anniversary
We got married here last year and returned for our 1st anniversary, we were not disappointed. Everything here is excellent from the cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff. We ate in the restaurant that evening where the food was beautiful. We will return.

Amazing views.
Fantastic location ,lovely people, glorious food. Sandy beach below , to far for us to walk , others did though. A pool would have been the icing on the cake, but certainly not essential. Good value for money.
