Lovely recently refurbished hotel in a quite location with stunning views across the bay! All the staff were amazing,a special mention for Angelita at the bar and restaurant for exceptional service! Close to all the good local restaurants and bars if you want to venture out for the nightlife.

Fantastic property, with amazing views! Ocean view from the bedrooms and feels so private a real luxurious getaway. Staff couldn’t have been better they were extremely accommodating for every need always greeted with a smile and were super helpful. Loads of dining options in Argassi. Would definitely stay again!

I would definitely recommend the Ionian Hill Hotel. The location of the hotel, close to the harbour, beaches and Zakinthos town was perfect. The room was very clean, comfortable and modern, and the pool was also excellent and well-maintained. Breakfast was delicious with lots of tasty options and the restaurant itself was lovely with gorgeous sunset views. We ate there a couple of times just because of the beautiful setting and ambience, but I was not impressed with the cuisine. There is better food to be had in the many tavernas of Argassi, Zakinthos Town and the charming village of Bohali. The best thing about the Ionian Hill Hotel, however, is the staff. They are all outstanding and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

The hotel is set in a great location close to the resort of Agassi without being affected by the hustle and bustle. The hotel staff went over and above to make our stay the best it could be for us. We would certainly make another visit there one day.

We visited by the end of September and our stay was quite pleasant. The Hotel has an amazing view of the bay, and it was quiet enough to rest properly. We were greeted by Yiota, who was very professional and personable. Angeleta at the restaurant was also very professional and kind. Overall everyone was welcoming and going the extra mile to please every guest. Although the hotel facilities were reasonable and comfortable, what would make us go back are the attentive staff. Accommodations were wonderful along with a wonderful hot daily breakfast along with Greek favorites. But the best thing about this hotel was Katerina. She helped arrange all our excursions, which turned out to be the highlight of our trip. She listened to what we wanted and went out of her way to make it happen. We so appreciate her patience, guidance and help making our stay truly stress free and relaxing.

Good but Problematic (must read review)
Excellent value for money. Everything is very new. Hotel is located on a hill side, overlooking the city of Zakynthos and the sea in a panoramic breath taking view. room is small, but ok size. I had the 'Superior Double or Twin Room, Sea View (Panoramic Sea & Pool View - 3 Adults)'. it is on the pool floor. so my porch was 3m away from the pool edge, with direct access to the pool. Some may like this, but it also means NO privacy. My advice, take the regular rooms (also cheaper). it may fix some of the following problems. The only entrance to the room is via this porch (no other window or door), and closing the door will smug the room. so you either sleep with open door, or with air-condition. there are 2 floors above me, and the plumbing is 1m away from my head, so you can here every water flush (very annoying). The sound isolation is bad. shower/toilet has no window (very small vent, not working). Other than that, it is good room, comfortable beds, and good feeling. Service is very good. WIFI is very good (1M up 5M dn). Safe is very small and on the floor. Breakfast was very good.

Lovely hotel with outstanding views. Staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room is cleaned every day with fresh towels and toiletries. I would be happy to stay there again. Highly recommended

A modern property set just outside Argassi with 28 rooms. Well presented and very clean. Ample parking for your car but set on a steep hill so practice your hill starts. We had a sea/pool view which was very impressive. A lovely view over Argassi and Zakynthos bay. Nice modern rooms with v good air conditioning. Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast is served on the terrace in the in- house restaurant which was nice but the hot stuff was often cold. Decent choice of cheese, fruit , cereals jams honey, juices and great Greek yogurt. Lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas although the umbrellas could do with some attention as some don't stay up. Pool towels provided if you ask at the bar. Bathrooms v modern although pretty small. No bath but shower cubicle which suited us however the shower cubicle was very small if you're rather portly you might struggle! Rooms cleaned on a daily basis with new towels provided. Reception services very helpful and bar/ breakfast staff work really hard. We hired a car which I was very glad of as I found the walk into the main part of Argassi quite hazardous as there is no path for the first 500m from the hotel. I'm a little surprised that no one else has actually mentioned traffic noise. we stayed in August which is high season and we found the traffic noise when sitting around the pool quite distracting. The hotel sits on a hill with the main road through Argassi right below.

Wonderful newly build hotel! We had the chance to stay in garden and sea view room, both were fantastic, beds and pillows were really comfortable. Our rooms, breakfast area, pool and all other facilities were clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and always willing to help ( many thanks to Alice, wonderful girl who was always there to help). Good choice of food for breakfast! Really really happy with our stay at Ionian Hill Hotel !

Never again ..... Greedy management .
Money grabbing, inflexible and greedy management but nice staff in all guest outlets I booked (and paid) well in advance for a wedding for 5 nights . Due to a work commitment I needed only 2 nights this was advised well in advance by several weeks . The 3 nights I did not require were refused to be refunded . I was offered an “ a Sea View” as some partial recompense , this did not happen either . I will never stay or recommend this hotel to any of my patients or friends. Awful .

Excellent hotel. Staff are very helpful and friendly. WIFI was great especially near pool side. Breakfast was great selection. Hotel staff very kindly do me a packed sandwich when I have left early hotel to join tour during my stays. But I wish the breakfast can served slight early like 7am instead of 8am that will be fabulous.Restaurant food was excellent but a bit pricy. Definitely will back and stay again and strongly recommend to everyone.

The hotel itself is nice and neat. Seems to be fairly new and spacious. There is no reception or front desk to go up to. They give you a WhatsApp number to contact should you have questions or need something and while they respond quickly, the items you requested take a while to come or if something is wrong. The wifi is non existent, for me it worked for 20 mins and then it dropped. I messaged th on WhatsApp and they saw my message but did not come to my room to check it out until the next day in the afternoon. Lucky I had a local sim with data. Accessibility is also hard. There is virtually nothing around the hotel except for some famous but VERY expensive resort, and another less expensive one are your options to eat. You have to walk down a mountain and back up again if you want to go somewhere. Tap water is not safe for drinking so even though they put small bottles of water in the fridge, I should have asked for more because I ran out of water in the middle of the night. Overall the hotel seems new and a bit nice but I wouldn’t stay there again. Also it’s a mission to drive to the hotel, the roads and navigation so even if you hire a car, it’s not easy to drive out and into the hotel. Ps; because the hotel is up a mountain you get some amazing views of the water and yachts floating about

Great boutique feel hotel with amazing views
Great modern little hotel with amazing views. Location at far end of Argassi on top of a hill meant it was quiet, and good place to stay if you're looking for somewhere to get away from the hustle and bustle. It's location also meant that it was a 15 minute walk into Argassi town where all the supermarkets and restaurants were. Hotel itself was compact but had all the bells and whistles. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The service was great, all the staff were really friendly. The breakfast selection was fantastic. The main attraction is definitely the view, enjoyed lunches, dinners and cocktails on the terrace. Food was also very good. The pool was also a much welcomed feature! Would highly recommend if you want somewhere quieter.

An excellent hotel in all aspects. Comfortable rooms, balconies with great view of the city and sea, gourmet restaurant with amazing food and view, nice pool to cool off. And over and above the staff were super helpful in organizing our activities. Christos especially was super helpful throughout our stay, I’ve never seen someone that dedicated to making his guests happy. Would recommend this hotel blindly to anyone. Will definitely be back.

Set in a beautiful, quiet location just a 10 minute walk from Argassi. The hotel has amazing views that you never tire of seeing. The food in the restaurant is excellent. The rooms are comfortable, clean and modern. We stayed here on our honeymoon and were not disappointed. We found a gem.

Great location overlooking Zakynthos
After initially missing our flight on the Monday we arrived Tuesday morning to be greeted by Fotis an absolute gentleman and a wonderful person nothing was a problem for him he is an asset to the Ionian Hill management truly. Our room was clean very comfortable had a great view over the pool and the sea, breakfast was great good choice of eats from bacon eggs, fruit , juices ,coffee cheeses and anything else you can think of, my wife and would stay there again and highly recommend it.

Utmost luxury and comfort in Zakynthos
Originally, I was going to take advice from others and do a package vacation deal. I am so very glad I didn't. Planning a trip to Zakynthos is much better if you get everything seperately (Plane, hotel, car, etc). This hotel was leagues ahead of most hotels on the island in terms of luxury and comfort! Being a smaller 28 room hotel, you won't be surrounded by too many people which allows you to relax and enjoy the premises. You will have a hard time leaving the pool/bar area especially with the absolutely stunning view. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and want to make sure you are having a good time
