Marvellous. Spectacular views in a small, luxurious hotel. A wonderful refuge down the craziness out in the streets and lanes of Santorini. Highly recommended.

The rooms are shaped like caves, very unique and cozy. Housekeeping cleaned our room twice a day, and the dining staff were so helpful and friendly. Easy access to main shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location, beautiful view of the infinity pool (the best in Oia), the food in the restaurant is good, but there is a lot of pressure every day from the cleaning staff to come in to clean the room, they put the cleaning cart near the door of the room and are waiting outside. I felt very uncomfortable.

Our stay at Perivolas was nothing short of perfect. Without exception this was our favorite vacation, and Perivolas was a huge part of that. The staff was incredible and the food delicious. Our room, the view, and everything about our accommodation was five stars. We would rate it 10 stars! The location cannot be beat. Honestly the soonest we can return is the day we will be back there. Thank you Perivolas!

Excellent hotel. Loved the location on the outskirts of Oia. It’s quiet and relaxing, and the views are breathtaking. Our only complaint was with housekeeping. They were a bit intrusive and inattentive. Otherwise we had an excellent stay at Perivolas and would highly recommend it.

The room was quite unique; bed was very good; views were outstanding. Service was wonderful from the time to checkin, sharing of welcoming drink until check out and transportation to the airport. I really liked the lap pool with the gym.

The hotel is amazing and luxurious, the perfect location to see the sunset (better than the sunset spot in my opinion) and staff is very professional and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. No regrets at all on choosing Perivolas, it made our Santorini holiday unforgettable.

It is a beautiful property, perfect for honeymooners or couples who want to be in a secluded quiet area. We were disappointed with the service and hospitality at the hotel. We were transferring from one hotel to another 10 mins walking distance and the hotel wouldn’t organize a pick up. When we found out our trip to mykonos may get cancelled, the concierge said we would have to go to the ferry in the morning to find this out, they offered no other solution. When we received confirmation from the ferry company on the trip being cancelled, the concierge were unhelpful in organizing our move to another hotel. Overall, for this being a 5 star hotel, we would have hoped to receive better hospitality rather than being left to sort it all out on our own.

The amenities were what you would expect at most places, but expected more for staying at one of the higher priced places in Oia. You definitely pay for the location and staff was pleasant, but it didn't feel like we got much for what we spent.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days. Obviously people have very high reviews for this hotel here, but we would give it 4 stars as I think the restaurant is more like a mom&pop shop than a professional hotel. Pros: Great and quiet location, awesome view, friendly afternoon and night reception manager who gave us a lot of good suggestion on tours and local food, great restaurant staff who always attend to our needs Cons: Hotel restaurant breakfast menu is the same every single day...there is no variation; dinner could really be improved - food was super salty and over cooked Day reception manager is nice, but always gave us the feeling of distant and not hospitable - every interaction felt more like a business. Almost feels like she wants to get over with our questions and get back to her job.... The AC in the room doesn’t work well - when we turn it above 22 degrees the air that comes out of the AC gets really smelly, so we had to turn it at around 18 degrees to get rid of the smell. However the room was super cold while outside is super hot. Because of this temperature difference I ended up getting sick and had a fever, I could barely talk as my throat hurt like crazy. The evening reception manager was kind enough to offer a Greek pill(kind of like a vitamin C tablet), but next day when my husband went to the day manager for 1 more pill, she gave one to him told him that it was the last one, no more. I was feeling very unwell, and the closest pharmacy is 30mins wal

Besides our a la carte menu, there is a variety of different sweet and savoury pastries on the buffet, which are made daily with the best seasonal produce. In addition, with regards to your comments on the dinner, I have informed our chef accordingly. We appreciate your feedback on the issue you experienced with the AC in the suite we upgraded you to, if however you had informed our staff of this problem, we would have been able to resolve it immediately. Last but not least, I am deeply sorry to hear that you fell ill during your stay at Perivolas. We do our best to provide our guests with first aid in these unfortunate situations. However, please be aware that we are forbidden by law to provide medical assistance and/or medication, which is why we advised your husband to visit the local pharmacy. In any case, I regret to hear that you didn't find your stay with us enjoyable. I hope you feel better soon and that we will have a chance to welcome you back and offer you the chance to experience the full potential our property has to offer, in the future. Best regards

It’s a unique hotel with true cave rooms. The novelty wears thin after two nights. The pool is not heated- quite cold in May. The setting of the property is spectacular- sunsets from the top of the hotel are amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful, but the number of staff is small. And, you will climb a maze of stairs going to and from your room- this can be a challenge after dinner with drinks.
