"This is an absolutely wonderful property! Clean throughout, and very well-equipped -- especially the kitchen. One of the most spectacular views of the ocean imaginable, with nearby places to hike through redwoods, stroll along the beach, and taste some fantastic wine. The host was great at communicating everything we needed to know in advance, including some helpful tips (like picking up groceries on the way in, as there are limited nearby places to eat out). Just what the doctor ordered for a quiet couple's getaway. Peaceful and beautiful area, with friendly Scrub-Jays to keep you company during morning coffee! Very highly recommended."

"This home is perfectly located: half a block off Highway 1, and minutes from downtown Mill Valley, Tiburon, and Highway 101. While this may sound like it's in a busy location, it isn't! It's set back from the street, surrounded by a lovely garden, and amazingly peaceful. The kitchen was very well-stocked and clean. I stayed with my seven-year-old grandson and appreciated how authentically friendly the host was to him. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Our host, Joan was lovely. She has an artistic flare and a genuine love of living things, which made us feel at home, as we came from New England. She was friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. My 5 yr old Grandaughter loved the very calm doodle dog and the day bed and the 2 fawn nibbling outside the patio. Unsure how she kept all her heirloom plants and many collectables impeccably dustfree. I was not prepared for the winding hills and unique terrain but became comfortable quickly overcome by its beauty. Our trip to Muir Woods was just what we wanted and took our hosts advice for anice dinner in the tiny beachtown of Stinson Beach. I’m glad my wimpy daughter in law bowed out as she would be ill on the twisting mountain roads."

"We’ve never been to Mill Valley - so first is that this location is in the hills, very narrow roads, so be cautious driving. There were approximately 30 stairs down to the unit, again exercise caution. Entering thru the front door is a small landing with one step down - be careful! Other than that the unit is pretty & the view is fabulous. One suggestion is to change the mattress in the sofa bed. It is very worn & uncomfortable. I was happy to only spend 3 nights on it. Also some lightbulbs could be replaced, especially the sconces near the bathroom sink. The unit was spotless, also having coffee & water available was a nice touch."
